I remember watching this video in 85 when it first came out on MTV, back when MTV was cool. They played rock and metal and no rap and bubble gum BS! We were all metal and hard rock teenagers. When this played it had all of our attention, simply because the voice. We all knew it was the CCR dude, yes John Fucking Fogerty and we all loved it! Man, time passes so quick. Now it's a classic just like me and all my old friends from the 80's! We also grew up as kids in the 70's where some of the best music that was ever written began. If not the 70's rock, there would be no hard rock and metal! kudos to AC/DC and ZZ-top and everything in between.

Bad Company was a British Band and when Paul Rodgers asked about the Southern/Blues-rock guitar and vocal sound, he simply said because that is what we were going for and I guess we a are good at it because many people assumed we were a band from the Southeastern United States until hearing an interview.

We need a fogerty statue. In front of hall of fame. Best in whole building. It ain't even close. His music sounds like memories. He is most natural to ever pick. And best ever to play for people, no costumes needed, no light show, no fireworks, no make up on men.

I can't believe that CCR broke up.they were all friends who grew up together in California. Didn't they understand that they were onto something huge.they put hits out like McDonald's puts out Burger's.. Unbelievable how they couldn't settle there differences for the good of the band and fortune and fame.they would have been huge had they stayed together and there all still alive except John's brother Tom,so they could have still been the very top in hits and record sales of all time, unreal.what a waste.
