I was in 2nd year of high school and I couldn't get enough of this album when it came out. I was listening to Ultravox at the time as well, but didn't yet know that Mr Foxx had been with them. Those were wonderful times. This was when electronic music was in its infancy. 🩶🖤🤍

Well said. "Metamatic" is quite simply one of the greatest electronic albums ever recorded. I must have played it a thousand times throughout the years. And let's not forget 1960's/70's electronic music pioneers Delia Derbyshire (Dr Who theme), Joe Meek (Telstar) and Wendy Carlos ( A Clockwork Orange). John Foxx was instrumental in bringing electronic music to the masses 🧡
