Calm disposition. Sensible. Conformation that's applicable to a good jumping horse. Level of spirit a rider can handle. One that enjoys the job of hunting. Yes a seasoned horse is best for novices. Is unsure, consult an expert. They'll know the price range of horses. And the horses qualifications.
