quick note, teflon tape isn't really a sealant. Pipe thread is supposed to seal itself, with the taper. Teflon tape really adds a lubricant so the fitting is easier to remove.

Henry Scharf which is why I personally only wrap teflon tape at least once completely around, and not more than 2.
