Johnny Hanlon is still alive he looks well when he was younger John was a machine very very strong man the krays tried to iron him out so did Freddie Forman amoungst many others and none of them could do it . They call him the bully but anybody in Notting hill will tell you he ISNT no bully he was a nice guy he was money getter and he could fight and was strong as a bull he is and was a true legend . None of them could live with him nobody from east , south , north ,west London he was the true governor. He still sometimes goes in the Embassy Cafe in Latimer Road with his son who is a gentleman. And Ernie wise was a gentleman too and a terrific thief and drummer . Good video ray . I miss the Bridport pub the volunteer the Bramley , fat cats , the derby great memories

The Bully was indeed a handful but was not the governor of our manor. I already told a story of the Kamara brothers and especially Alan, who climbed into the Bully's house and threatened to kill him. I know for a fact Foreman spooked him, and the man of our area alongside the Kamara's was Johnny Iceman Fermosa! My pal John John used to growl at the bully and fancied it!

Like I was saying earlier mate! Bev Abbott Harlesden, who is my dad but no liar, had it with Hanlon and won. He did say it was only just though and one of the hardest rows he's ever had. When they was both in the Scrubs after Hanlon gave him 2oz of burn every week out of respect, so he was a gent, a bit of a bully but not like Lenny McLean! Even his family say he was a terrible bully, smacking drunks about. Could have it on the slab but NO-ONE never loses or has 3000 fights!!
