investing in resources s good; thinking that teachers are THE resource should require rethinking of this paradigm. How is it different from how people thought in the 19th century?

I feel teachers want to make a difference but we are weighed down by testing by certain dates along with collecting data on a weekly based. This takes away from teaching time.

so move away from Teacher Performance as its based on student achievement, but move to Teacher Expertise, and what will it be based on Mr Hattie? oh.... student achievement.
