Hello AK from what I can see that board is too long with too much volume and has very unforgiving rails, catchy. Jordy’s Smth Boards he is riding now are great. John John was lucky to be working with Pyzel and still is, at the time together with his great skill he also had great boards.

I dunno, I am South Africa, but even trying to be unbiased, I don't really feel like the scoring was that unfair. Maybe Jordy's first score was a bit high. JJF moves were maybe a bit more radical arguably, but Jordy got the bigger and better waves.

The reason comeptetion surfing will never be mainstream is becasue that scoring is so rediculous. It's to confusing. There was no 9 point rides out there , not in my eyes

WSL Sucks, it's too political Now,, great surfers one of which has on a whole other level of skill. It's so noticeable. Not just JJF Being Robbed by them. Others like Julian Wilson, Adriano, & more. However THIS KID really got shafted more than once. Sad, too bad surfing turned corporate. WSL Conglamorat.

charlynn Chock this was 6 years ago buddy.. not too political now, surfing has all ways had, and always will continue to have poorly scored waves and unfair heats. Its up to the judges opinion and they all make mistakes sometimes.

Back in 2014 Johns nose picks scored high where today they would only be mid-range, but Jordy's 9.3 was radical and would still score excellent even by 2022 standards, it was very close but Jordy deserved that win IMO
