Conor Mcgregor is probably the reason he has as big enough platform to have these interviews, you idiot. Throughout his whole career he gave all credit to John after winning his fights. You dont have the balls to admit the only reason you hate conor is because his bad blood with Khabib, and Khabib fanboys are the biggest sausage party fruity people ive ever seen. Whatever Khabib says, You all share his direct opinions, and beliefs. Its like a cult, its crazy.

Dude you took the words right out of my mouth. After the 3rd round in the 2nd Diaz fight, I was kinda freaking out; I thought a repeat of the 1st fight was inevitable. But then Conor went back to his corner and Kavanagh was just so calm and giving Conor advice like the 3rd round never happened. It actually calmed me down, his confidence in Conor and cool demeanor is contagious.

[Don't bother reading if hate Conor]. Tbh as much fighting Mayweather was good for his bank account 100mil+, the global stardom and that money being used into smart investments like whisky proper12, other companies etc. I kinda wish sometimes it didn't happen to see how good he could have been if he continued in the beast mode he was in. He was a beast at FW but that weight was too much of weight cut. LW vs Eddie might not been best champ, but Conor looked amazing and at his best ever, striking some best. People can say making excuses but anyone who has watched Conor from CW days to UFC and watched that Khabib fight he was not the 100% Conor. No focus, no proper preparation due to him wanting to sell his whisky brand(fairo I guess?), but he wasn't the same, he was a clown, he was angry over Artem he just wasn't there. (Not taking away from Khabib that fight, that bloke is a monster and always will be, but I do think his time will come). I really hope all the rumors are true that he lost the focus, the motivation but since around Xmas he has found a new motivation. Haters say he didn't defend a belt and his a fraud. But he only ever wanted to be double champ same time in UFC like CW days. Then got rich, started a family and whisky company plus all other business ventures and had no motivation. The new rumors are his new motivation is to make a legacy, to not leave on a loss. I truly hope we see him get that hunger, drive, motivation back like his coach is saying he is seeing for the first time in years. That unmatched striking style. switched stances, karate to Taekwondo (Though not too much because he has shit gas tank), but that fighting style back, the crisp boxing, switching philly shell, using cage dope the rope, ducking n weaving, setting up traps and landing combo's. That fighter seriously could easily be a champ again. Top 5 there is some fun fights. Poirier 2, Khabib 2, Nate trilogy(100% wwant to see that), Maybe Max 2 but at 155, Justin. His only young Conor in the fight game, he's a phenomenal athlete and fighter. I hope the haters but more so the day 1 fans get to see him come back, and come back in a big way. Would be amazing and would make his second Documentary and movie(in the future) one to go down in the books and that would be a legacy to leave behind.

Kavanaugh is a prime example and role model for fighter coaches, just a nice, genuine fellow. He literally had the biggest star of all stars in Conor McGregor and unlike other coaches/managers didn’t let it change his mindset or who he was and because of that regardless of how the winds change he seems to be doing fine. Really hope Conor gets back on track and we see him back in there but regardless glad to see coach Kavanaugh doing well!
@paulbadman8509
@paulbadman8509 5 жыл бұрын
boris Odor totally agree. The gameplan for Khabib fight was so shit, and at post fight interviews with Kavanaugh - “Conor has been too defensive” - just lol, literally the first thing Conor did was to push Khabib and knee him, so he got taken down. No matter how hard he trained his TDD (which I doubt, he had to part it with partying and drinking after all), the best TDD is footwork, circling out and a jab. Conor got stuck with the same style he fought 4 years ago, and in MMA as in life in general you lose if you’re too rigid to change and adapt. That’s what separates GOATs from great fighters, and the ability to tell the truth to your fighter’s face separates best coaches from just good ones.

Exactly. John played himself though : he said he made things too defensive instead of having faith in Conor's offense; the only problem with that idea is : all Conor did was attack Khabib. He walked straight at him most of the time and was not countering at all. That's why he got taken down so easily.
