Can anyone tell me whether,imagination is emphacised against reason or region ?
@LipsaGiri5 жыл бұрын
reason
@VinodKumar-gv9sg4 жыл бұрын
Reason was one of the dominant features of 18th century literature or neoclassical literature whereas emotion, intuition and imagination were the key features of 19th century or romantic age . Hope you can understand now.
@godgiftmj93043 жыл бұрын
@@VinodKumar-gv9sg Neo-classical poets were emphasising more on reason at the stake of imagination and feeling.....and Romantic movement was a reaction against it......and emphasised more on imagination....... rather than the mundane issues of life and materialism.......in Romanticism poetry became more universalised and common people and nature became the subject matter of poetry.........
