I think Halle was really trying to find her sound, while Chloe has always known her sound, which is deep and full and controlled. Halle’s voice shines in the higher ranges, she’s not an alto at all! Exactly! You need to understand how intricate Halle's vocal technique is! She's very indie in the way she sings and since indie music isn't popular in mainstream music they don't understand it. I wouldn't say Halle have a voice of a "kid". The texture of her voice and the choices she makes is far from a kid. Just watch their covers of Nuclear, Wake Me Up, Diamonds, I Was Here, Honeymoon Avenue, Beautiful (Mariah Carey and Miguel), and Halo. Her voice I'd beyond her years, and it stands out because of the uniqueness of it. Both of their voices are more beautiful when they are singing together.

I've listened or I wouldn't have posted my opinion. She has a unique texture to her voice but a she has a high pitch voice that has yet to be touched by puberty...so to me it sounds child-like. Once it matures, I think it'll sound even more powerful (: I never said it wasn't beautiful. But of right now, Chloe voice stands out.

While I think both girls are unbelievably talented; I don't think this was the best song choice for Halle's voice. She struggled a bit with the lower notes (because her natural range is high alto-->soprano) and belting out the notes in the bridge. I feel as though her voice is better suited to ballads, like their cover of Pretty Hurts or Say Something. She really shined in both of those videos. I'm not gonna hate on the girl though like other people in the comments; she's 14 and her body and voice still have some growing to do. She'll perfect and/or expand her range with time. It's in bad taste to compare her to Chloe because not only are their voices polar opposites (soft, melodic country/pop vs. r&b/soul powerhouse is like comparing a Broadway musical to a Michael Bay film), but they're SISTERS and this is not a competition.
