This is in remembrance of one of the greatest musicians to ever give us what we needed. Music spoke for us. It’s been 44 years today that John left us. I can only wonder what else he would have done. It’s all memories now.

Maybe...it's about SEEING with MORE than just 2 eyes; getting off the crazy train, living through the tv we CHOOSE to let "teach" us, letting the "news" and other such (no matter the source it comes from) control us...he got off THAT ride and Enjoys Life 🥰😉👍

It has been said that when his son Sean was born, he decided to be a stay at home dad and raise his son. He didn’t do that with his first son Julian, and he regretted that. So, being a dad and staying home, people couldn’t/didn’t understand why he would choose that instead of being “John Lennon” the star. He had to let go of the “merry go round”. Good choice.

Yeah, it’s about stepping back from the music industry (and all it “have a cigar” ala Pink Floyd bs), and it’s also about his embracing a more attentive fatherhood than he ever did before, but t me it’s a truly great work because AS WELL as exploring all those ideas , it also reads as a supremely adroit reductionism of Hindu/Buddhist, detachment.. and much so that whether or not he actually achieving is really besides the point. In this work he spells out the goal. So there’s no way he didn’t see it. Wow. Parse the lines surrounding the “no longer in the big time boy part of the song, seee them through the lens of a man steeped in eastern philosophy, and prob tb on a, talking to a record executive… and suddenly you see his Liverpudlian sarcastic approach to the world has evolved into sarcastic attitude to attachment… with Liverpudlian tone. Wow.

Love this song, Lennon instead of following the "let's go", he decided for the "let it go" and don't be part of the wheel (system) and that's he was murderer for, by a Psycho MK Ultra.

Think he’s talking about him quitting the Beatles. People thinking why would he quit such success Because he wanted to get off that hamster wheel. Out of the rat race.
