I didn’t know this episode would be such an enjoyable watch. I remember JL3 and Teague’s entire careers from college to the pros. Born and raised in Philly, know about JL3 pops career, his addiction to alcohol, his tenure with the Sixers, heard about the Kobe practices with the Sixers, etc… But I had know clue how much of a sponge JL3 was to NBA basketball and the development of other NBA stars. Damn near 2 hrs of pure entertainment!!

I used to work for Asurion. We would drive replacement phones to client houses all over the LA area. One day they sent me over to the Van Nuys area for my last job. I was hyped since I lived in the area so I knew this shit would be quick. Pulled up to some apartment complex and they gave me the gate code so it was easy. Knocked on the door and it was him. I knew I seen him somewhere before. Couldn’t figure it out. In the midst of setting up his replacement phone I asked him if he used to play in the NBA. He said yeah. Then my dumbass said “You were the one that LeBron jumped over right”? Let’s just say he didn’t buy the protection plan we tried to upsell lol And I couldn’t ask for a pic
