It’s amazing that we’ve been given the insight we have in to the comedy world. Listening to the Tom Stade stories, I’m thinking “yeah that sounds like Tom” …even though I’ve never met the bloke. Incredible episode.

Yeah it's super interesting and has made me such a comedy nerd. However I have been told by a couple of different comedians who will remain unnamed that HAW fans can be problematic at gigs (not gigs when the lads are there specifically just comedy gigs in general) 🤷 I guess the exceptions prove the rule

Dan has a beautiful point about comedy if you're really into it a good compere isn't just looking for the bit they are really drawing on information and experience. Danny McLaughlin is an absolute fantastic example of absolutely not hack. He really shows an interest and also remembers details. If you go to a show then go back a month later as long as you weren't boring as shit he will definitely remember detail you gave and feed off it. It's an amazing skill and not many can do it.
