I am a former female pastor, and yes, former because by the grace of God, He opened my eyes to see His words and gave me grace to submit and obey. Do I have regrets? Absolutely, NO. Why? Because this is not about me anymore, THIS IS ABOUT THE GLORY OF GOD. ❤

We owe it all to our Lord Jesus Christ. We spend time conversing and arguing across America because of equal rights. God is not about equal rights. In the parable of the men given the 3 talents. The body of Christ has these talents and not all are called to be preachers, deacons or ministers. We can service the ministry in a wide variety of areas.

Yes Corinthian women were licentious, bullies, heathens so Paul had to address them in a general way. You all take one scripture and make an entire sermon against God-fearing called and chosen women to ministry. You all need to look at the context of what the culture of that chirch was. How about the scriptire says that there's no Jew nor gentile and no gender in God's eyes? No, Im not a pastor nor am I for 100 genders, only male & female as far as earthly flesh goes. Now you do you and I do me since ne9ther you are responsible for my soul nor I for yours. We all have opinions and only G9d knows the heart of a person. He called me 9ut of darkness and He leads me into the paths of righteousness--never needed a preacher nor a pastor to help me in my walk and ministry in the Kungdom of God.

True, but there is nothing about the written command for women to be silent that needs any context or clarity...it's very simple, a child doesn't need clarification on this issue. Opposition to obedience to sound doctrine and the very clear command is the take away.

Also in Revelations when Jesus rebuked He never mentioned anything about women preaching, He only rebuke them for allowing the woman who had a Jezebel spirit because she was seducing ppl. If the issue was her gender Jesus would have been upfront about it. The Bible needs context and the Spirit of God otherwise Satan also knows how to mislead using the word. As a pastor in Africa for some time now, I have seen women carrying the gospel and running with it faster and harder than men Edit: Let's also consider that currently, the world is still grappling with issues of gender. Imagine what it was like +/-1950 years ago when Paul wrote that letter. Remember he also gave instructions to slaves and slave owners but the church has found a way of navigating that in the modern day. So the same for women pastors/bishops, there is objective evidence that they can produce results as bishops if given the right support. Let's at least think about it.

You should be careful because you've not read the word of God close enough. Paul is the one who actually said that women are not to teach or assert authority over a man, it says it several times in the Bible, you need to read the whole Bible to find out that women are not supposed to preach but be submissive to their husband. If they don't understand something they're supposed to ask their husband when they get home. It's not about gossiping because no one is supposed to do that, you need to learn your Bible a little bit better and stop misleading people.

@@richardhicks9914 I never said women should be Pastors, but they can teach if they have the wisdom from God.. Just because a man preaches doesn't mean he's always right, he may interpret the Bible wrong himself. That's why we all need to ask God for discernment... And I'm just curious, do you feel that anyone who has been saved through the teaching of a woman doesn't have true Salvation? and I'm genuinely asking, not trying to start anything lol.. Two days later I had my last message and explained why I was stepping down. I was crucified my the women in our church. God started giving me scriptures that completely explained everything to me. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. @Pinkdollface I can help you. But you need to be calm and willing to listen. If you want to hear from him, then you need to turn off everything. You want to hear him, and you can't if theres distractions. Gods voice is a still small voice. You are a created being. He created your imagination, your ears, and your spirit, everything about you. 1 Kings 19:11-13 King James Version "11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: 12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?" He will speak to you however he pleases. If you are spending time with him, then you may receive a vision if he chooses. It is, though, your thoughts he speaks, or it could be audible. It could be a sign. A sign could be anything. My message I'm giving you here, or a stranger giving you a word of knowledge that's aligned with something you recently prayed about. God is contemporary, a living God. You might have something show up on your social media thats aligned with something you prayed about. However he wishes to speak to you; you will know that it is him. John 10:27-28 King James Version 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. His yoke is light. When he enters the room, the atmosphere literally changes. All you have to do is call out to him. Matthew. 11 Verses 28 to 30 [28] Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. " Since this is your first time hearing from him, you'll need to apply this test in 1 John 4. Once you hear from any spirit, you must apply this test. God will not be offended. He would rather you be safe than sorry. 1 John 4 King James Version 4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Can women share the gospel with others? Yes Can women hold a position of authority over a man in Church or pastor a church? No. Absolutely not. There is a difference between telling people about Jesus and how He died on the cross for your sins and that those who repent and believe will have everlasting life, AND teaching a body of people about the Bible in church. If God says it’s wrong, your opinion doesn’t matter. There’s a reason why the word of God says. That the heart is deceitful. Your hearts desires should equate to God’s desires. And if they don’t, you are in the wrong. Not God.

People need to put their emotions aside in order to see this manipulation, especially men. With Godly men leading, no one will care what a selfish woman or emotional man wants. If God is front and center in the household, the wife will follow her husband. Don't be unequally yoked in the faith unless God calls you to be for his reasons. Your question re combat would be irrelevant if we were a Godly nation. Remember, the women you see or hear about are not representative of every woman, same goes for "all men", "all blacks", every white person is not racist or whatever divide they're brainwashing the masses with on that day. Good luck to you sir in your life's journey 🙏

Pastor John MacArthur is a wonderful pastor and will teach you a lot about the Bible. Please don’t let the short turn you off about him so to speak. He is literally teaching from the Bible. This is a teaching from the Bible. God never said that a woman can’t evangelize, or lead people to Christ. God doesn’t want women on the pulpit. And there is a reason for that. Women should not be preaching unto men about how to conduct themselves in their lives. I’m sure there’s more to it but that’s what I gather from it. So this is what happens when you don’t study the context of the scriptures. When Paul speaks to the Corinthians about women not speaking in the congregation, he was actually reprehending woman for understanding the teachings of Jesus Christ, but still asking silly questions in the middle of the service. Paul is not saying that women are prohibited to preach the word of the Lord, and there is no verse in the Bible that says “women cannot be pastors”. What Paul was pointing out was the intention behind those comments and questions women were shouting, for they were challenging the authority of the Corinthians church leaders. If there were an actual verse about not being pastors, it would say that no person is worthy of that position. Lets stop with the fanatical, extra religious thinking. None of us is worthy of sharing the Lord’s word, but it was by grace that we all have the assignment of preaching and make disciples for Christ to glorify God Father. It is not feminism, as it is not patriarchal thinking. We are all children of God by grace and we all are called to serve Him. So much discrepancy about women being or not being pastors, and there has been thousands of “pastors” that have robbed their congregations, lied, utilized, abused, and so much degrading actions. The majority? Men.

I don’t even understand why women and men are working so hard against this. Being a pastor comes with great responsibility and lots of temptations and hard times. Women have so many other things to contribute with in a church, so “why” are we so stubborn to be pastors? God can use you in other great ways. I personally belive that women are supposed to serve in other ways like praying for the people, worshipping god, taking care of the assembly, and i believe that women should be a witness of Jesus outside as well. The thing is the church isn’t just supposed to be a nice place where you go and eat and talk to people and worship the lord. The church is also a place where the enemy attacks, and sometimes the government, and the church is a place where the leaders have to make tough decisions and lead the people well. And there is something beautiful about being the silent one, you will be able to see people in another way, serve people in another way, you will be able to pray ( and praying is powerful ) you will be able to serve and honor God the way he intended for us. It doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t speak kindly to others or never answer if we are spoken to it just means that we should have a quit spirit and not be trying to take leader rolls like the men do. I don’t judge anyone I was a leader in church for almost a year, I now see a lot of things behind the scenes and I trust that God knows what’s best. But honestly I do believe women are allowed to teach just not for men, rather young women and be a role model for them, I just believe that the lord loves his women very dearly, he doesn’t say things to make us feel less worthy. He is a God of order, and he has decided that this is the model for the church. Women are very important as well and we can’t forget that, our kindness and softness along with our strong faith can be a huge impact in peoples lives.

As for me, I absolutely don't have any problem with women being pastors or leaders in church. God said He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, and both sons and daughters will prophesy. How do daughters prophesy to God's people if they don't speak at all in church? Remember, that women held leadership roles in Scriptures, right from the Genesis to the Revelation. Deborah, a woman was a judge In Israel, and she led a whole nation, which is way larger than a congregation. Also, Josiah, a little boy became king at eight years old. This is to show that this concept of women not preaching in church is satanic. The church is not a men's cult but the Ecclesia of God, and anyone can function as He permits, regardless of gender. God calls whoever He wills, and empowers whoever he wants. God can use anybody at anytime for whatever purpose He wishes, and we can't do anything about it, he's God. If God can use a donkey to speak to Balaam and little David to defeat Goliath, what the entire Israel was afraid of, why can't he use a woman to lead His church? Don't demonize what God deems appropriate. If you're a woman reading this, and God is calling you to minister, go ahead and don't let the devil use these religiously brainwashed folks to stop you. #EvangelistGlobal

He won’t hold it against you but the ones misinterpreting the scriptures most definitely will. So follow God or follow men who follow tradition, bias, prejudice, and fear… which one will it be? Choosing God is always the right way to go. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, our director, our counselor, and so much more. He will never lead you to violate the Scriptures and telling people about Jesus fulfills the command to go into all the world and share the gospel. Go girl, go with the leading of the Holy Spirit and forget about the ones who tell you can’t simply because of your gender. The description of the Holy Spirit as our helper is the same word used to describe Eve in Genesis. It’s interesting that the Holy Spirit often has been treated as a ‘lesser’ Person of the Godhead, even though He, too, is God. Women also seem to be treated as ‘less than’ even though Eve was taken out of Adam’s side and God told both Adam and Eve to have dominion over all things. What we’re experiencing is a result of the fall from Grace, not God’s original blueprint for mankind. The Bible tells us to study to show ourselves approved. Without the revelation and teaching of scripture through the Holy Spirit, we’ll lack the insight and understanding of scripture and interpret it through our fallen nature, not through the lens of accuracy and truth that only the Holy Spirit can provide.

I was talking with myself yesterday ( yes, myself lol ) about the kind of marriage i pray God designs for me because as a woman in this society i use to be misguided on what my role was, i wasn't taught that the roles for men and woman weren't there to hurt me. But i came to a realization. Thinking about my role and a mans role, Focusing on what it means to be the woman of God. I realized something about Adam and Eve, God created Adam first, but what dawned on me was really thinking about who actually knows how long it was just Adam and God before he created Eve, so what i got from that for myself was that Adam had a longer and meaningful relationship with God and he was in a higher position than Eve aside from what God already placed on Adam. Eve came after, she was there to be a help mate to Adam. When i think about that i realize my role as a woman is not bad. I desire to have a Man of God who knows Him in such a way that there's no room for me to become a " teacher " in a role made for men. since God created Adam first, I desire for my Husband to know Christ more than I, understanding that I need to have my own relationship but God can use me in ways that are specifically for me.

The first Evangelists of the Gospel were women who found the empty tomb and met Jesus. The women went to proclaim the Good News to the men Disciples but the men did not believe. Great example set by the men, would you say. Even Thomas first wanted to inspect the nail scared hands before believing. Paul was merely addressing the cultural context where some women were getting too excited in Church and got out of order. Paul was not addressing it in terms of an absolute doctrine that women cannot preach or become Pastors. Paul did however make clear as a absolute Doctrine that "There is now no more male or female, slave or free, for we are all one in Christ". You are missing a valuable point and a blessing in that it was a woman (Eve) who through her actions brought sin and shame into the world and it was now through the woman who was granted the previlege of finding the empty tomb and having the honour of proclaiming the Good News to the men in order to bring mankind Life. GOD Bless you, you are a great teacher but you are wrong in your view, it is pure heresy that women cannot become Pastors or Preachers or Priests or indeed hold any office in the Church. As with anything including the eating of certain foods or alcohol with some people, you need to be sensitive by allowing women to preach in certain cultures so as not to be a stumbling block but there are no provisions to prohibit women from becoming Pastors.

These were not women vying for the pulpit and the women here were clearly not learned enough (as was typical in that time) to teach on the faith. They were clearly being disruptive in some way so they were told to be quiet and ask their husbands at home. This passage is often used erroneously. That is why I point it out. I heard the original language is better translated as 'chatter '. Women like to talk, it's known. It's asking women not to gossip or speak during the sermon, instead listen. I also believe that a female preacher or evangelist is more likely to be physically attacked or spoken over by unruly men. More likely to have her feelings hurt or belief shaken if the crowd rebels against her. More likely to be spoken negatively about by uncivilised people. I personally like that it's not my responsibility to preach in public. Men should take that risk. But I also don't believe that women aren't allowed to speak at all, especially when protected by a strong line of men who honour her. Traditionally, women would be having the majority of spiritual influence on their children and communities. Teaching and spending all day with them. Whereas in reality, it might be the only time during the week that men got to speak to them. As they'd be spending dawn till dusk outside the home, working on the farm or similar. And mostly too exhausted to exert real spiritual influence over their family afterwards. It was giving men a chance to speak at all. Now that parenting roles are a lot more equal than they used to be, I'm not sure it's 100% applicable anymore. Perhaps women shouldn't be pastors, but perhaps men should be out in the sun breaking their backs all day as well.

Thank you for searching for grace. His interpretation is actually incorrect . The Bible in this case uses the word Women to refer to wives. The Greek word is "gunee" which means a women who is a wife. A wife should not be over her man trying to instruct him in church but should represent man's submission to Christ learning in all submission, piety, and quiteness. When is the last time we have quitely submitted to God and listened? Or why don't we seek to really understand God's Character in Christ? Perhaps then we would have already known this lesson. We would have also read this scripture (and no scripture can be set aside): In the spirit: There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, *nor is there male and female* , for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28 NIV The word female in this case is "Thelus" which mean all women, not "gunee" which mean women who are wives. If Paul wanted to consider all women he would have said Thelus not gunee. So be there is neither male or female in the spirit, God does not forbid a Female to teach, but for a wife to hold and wield God like authority over "the man", or otherwise the husband, which is not the order of his Word. We must rightly divide the word, may you Go in peace, and He will forgive us for the small misstep. @Omar Sheriff Kaptan The Strongs Concordance is simply the definition of the Greek words that were used to write the King James Version. The King James Version was translated from the "Masoretic Text" and original Greek version. Do you believe the King James Version is inspired? Also other examples for you. (Sorry I misunderstood your previous message) I thought you were quoting old testament: 1 Timothy 3:11 still uses the word Gunee but this time it says Wife. The Greek word hasn't changed, but the interpreters tried to get a more complex language, Greek, and put it in the very simplified language of English and it lost some of its nuance, but it did not lose it's power for those who use the Spirit. 1 Timothy 5:14 uses the word "neos" and it's translated as "Young Women" (who have not been married). So Paul is very educated in his Greek, you can trust he means what he says. *And here is the most important context of your answer* If Paul said in 1 Timothy 2:14-15: And Adam was not deceived, but the *woman* ... fell into transgression. The word here for woman again is gunee. Was not Eve Adam's wife? Sorry for the translators. Then the word says: Nevertheless *she will be saved in childbearing* if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control. I Timothy 2:15 NKJV How could all women be saved in childbearing? Only Wives can be saved in childbearing. Not all women will bear children. So when Paul uses Gunee he is writing a letter to Timothy for his work ministering to married women and men in Ephesus, as well as ministering to all others. Thanks be to God we can use the letter to better understand the Character and Desire if God and make it fit within our own lives even 2 thousand years later. Hope that help clarifies the issue. It is nuanced, but not veiled if you research. I am sorry that the Translators made these small translation decisions. But it works for our Good for those who fear The Lord. With Love. Here to answer sincere questions. Thanks be to Jesus!

I find it very interesting that the word ‘pastor’ , boiled down to its essence, means to shepherd, to be a shepherd. Did you know that Rachel, Jacob’s wife, was a shepherd? Interesting fact and yet, here we are still debating whether or not women can be shepherds (they can and are) in the church. I know this: many men have held women back because they’re afraid of strong women. So they accuse them of having a Jezebel spirit, when in fact they themselves are operating under that spirit in an attempt to control, deny, guilt trip, abuse, manipulate, and coerce women to keep their ‘rightful role.’ Well, I’ll tell you this, the role that’s been perpetuated here is not from God, it is from the pit of hell and satan himself. God never made women to be doormats and yet many in the church treat them exactly that way. The Kings daughters are Chayil, not doormats. The men who have come into agreement with this have come into an agreement with satan, not the Truth, Jesus Himself. He would never treat His daughters, and joint heirs of the kingdom this way. Yet many men in the church ( and some women) continue to support this lie. The men doing this need to repent and humble themselves. Only then can men AND women take their rightful place as co-heirs and co-rulers of the kingdom. Strong women, Chayil women, won’t control or manipulate, they will simply be led by the Spirit of God and do what He’s called them to do. Men agreeing with this are being led by a spirit of fear, not by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. Women are rising up in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit and they won’t be stopped. Psalm 68:11 is a prophetic declaration for this time. You may not like it, you may reject them but you’re really rejecting God Who sent them and you’ll have to answer for that, not the women being obedient to the Call. Women have the same Holy Spirit that men do. Why would He then limit His abilities, His power, and His anointing in women simply because of their gender? The Truth is, He doesn’t, but men do. Food for thought…

Just because you don’t see them recording and putting themselves on KZbin doesn’t mean they aren’t out there. Also, you have to remember that it might not be safe for women to go out on there own. If you’ve seen Pastor David’s videos you know how extremely aggressive some people can be toward them. It wouldn’t be wise in my opinion for women to put themselves in the same kind of situations without men there to protect them. And I agree it isn’t the same as preaching. I never said it was.

As a woman and child of God, when we go to heaven and have to give an account of our lives here on earth, God is not going to be worried about what we cooked for our husband's or how submissive we are to THEM. I am no feminist but I know that God will ask, "What did you do in my name?" I'm not going to be ashamed of speaking the name of Jesus to everyone I encounter because I may be the last person they speak too. I'm held accountable for the people I encounter. If I choose to ignore saying anything to someone who goes into their car and passes away in an accident, and they get sent to hell, THEIR BLOOD IS ON MY HANDS. I take a stand because the Devil is a liar and my Father in Heaven gives me power over him. DO NOT BACK DOWN!

Yes, you will give an account and be judged for the commands you disobeyed. Women are commanded to submit to their husbands. If you disobey this, yes, you will absolutely give an account to God for what command you obeyed and disobeyed. Yes, women who call themselves pastors will absolutely give an account for their refusal to submit to God’s Word and design for His church. And no, if you do not evangelize to someone and they die and go to hell, their blood is *not* on your hands. Each man is responsible for their own sins (Ezekiel 18:4). We do not bear the burden of another man’s sin. Your theology is very false and not in alignment with the scriptures. I urge you to examine the scriptures with your beliefs. Be a Berean. The Berean Jews were commended for examining scripture with the message that Paul gave them. The Bible says our heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, we can’t trust it. Do not trust in your deceitful, wicked, evil feelings. Trust in scripture alone as the authoritative objective standard of truth- breathed out by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

@@ChristiansMatter I see what you're saying and let me say this. I do submit to my husband because I am his wife but he encourages me to speak the gospel to people because if only men were to spread the gospel, what would that say to God about women? When people and I mean men women and children become Christians, we accept the spirit of the living God into our hearts which signifies Christ within us. Now I'm sorry about my statement about their blood on my hands. If you read more into it like anyone who reads their Bible would, I didn't mean it literally. When I go out and see all these people, I think about where they are headed. Their soul matters and what I do is show love like Jesus did, and I tell them about him. Now I am a Jew, but I know not all jews believe in Jesus Christ like I do. We live in a world that is being plummeted into Gehenna daily. I also what to point out about the Word of God. I love my Bible and the hope it gives me, but I know there is so many more chapters than what we've been given. I listen to God daily. I know him, I worship him, I hear him, and he encourages me to speak about Jesus. This is no disrespect, and I see why you think women shouldn't preach because I know not all people who claim to know God do. My life is his and I'm not going to stop being the woman of God and spreading the good news that Jesus is alive and that he loves them. Remember, the Bible is one long Love Story. He showed love on that cross, he showed love wherever he went. Instead of tearing each other apart, we need to love. We don't have to condone to what people do, but we so have to love. FAITH HOPE AND LOVE ENDURE, BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE. 1 Corinthians 13:13.

@@gtechnosinc2518 the Bible says to study to show yourself approved, so study the times and exactly why Paul said what he said. Study what the women were doing in that day and you’ll understand the scripture. Gods people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge and again, where are the MEN of God? Nowhere to be found, leaving women to raise their children alone, what does scripture say about that? So let’s start with that, how a man is supposed to leave his mother and father house and cling to his wife so first of all a man needs to marry his woman and stop keeping her as a girlfriend. Then he needs to lead his family, work and provide for his family. So if anyone is out of the will of God, it’s men who leave woman to lead their homes. So instead of coming at women, go after the men that are not obeying Gods word! Let’s start there. God bless you

When Paul spoke he spoke only to the Corinthian church specifically because they had the gifts of the Spirit so much (this also was for a reason) that everybody wanted to showcase his gift at the same time in church to the point that Church services became rowdy. God used great people like Kathrine Khulman, Maria Woodward Eter, etc. Don't let any body's misinterpretation of scripture discourage you. McArthur is a great preacher, but he got this wrong. The rule is never to form a doctrine from one verse or incidence of scripture. But he did just that.
