I love how it says "You are my past"...it doesn't matter whether you became a Christian yesterday or 20 years ago, God is still your past. When you give your life to Christ his blood covers your past and when you look back all you can see is Him. Your past doesn't matter to God, he has taken it and washed you clean. There is nothing more powerful than the blood of Christ.

In response to William and Dean: I got the chance to be in the video. Doesn't matter who I am. And yes at first it did seem weird that it was 'staged.' But the longer we sang the more we were just brothers and sisters worshiping. This was not 'staged'-it was genuine. We were encouraged to worship and not stand there and look posed. What you see here was us loving on Jesus. You can believe it or not. Up to you. All I know-it was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. We started out as strangers (there were maybe 6 people in the whole room that I knew and the rest were from other area churches) and ended up bonded.

What I may have failed to say is that, despite the video production and all that it entails, the message got through to me and was very needed in my life. I actually believe that a certain extent of our worship should be displayed as a witness and testimony. Do you understand though that some people film church events for personal promotion? I should have been clearer in my comment that though that happens, I do not think at all that THIS video is in any form a depiction of that, THAT was in response to the first guy.
