I agree! Although I know he has expressed a disillusionment with his CalArts music course, stating: "There's no course in how to discover the magical instant of music."

Getting no audio, bummer.

I know and I am sorry. I mentioned earlier a copyright claim issued by Hyperion Records meant that youtube has muted the audio until this claim is resolved. Unfortunately, this means that I've had to remove the excerpt from "Christopher Page: Gothic Voices"-"Machaut: Rose, liz, printemps, verdure," a most beautiful song. Hopefully this will placate Hyperion and sound will soon be restored. In the meantime, I included a link to the full audio in the video's description and you are welcome to email me as well.

It's a piece by Josquin des Prez, I know that much. Not sure which, though. Can anyone else help? Otherwise I certainly don't mind listening until I find it.

That's the one! Should have realised sooner that John, in fact, mentioned the piece by name and that you had already answered your own question here, but that's what happens when I'm on youtube at 5 in the morning! Sorry I'm not very helpful.

Because this took me two days to upload originally and I haven't got around to it yet.
