John Mayer auctioning off Mark Guitar from the X Series for charity...very funny!!

John Mayer on 5/16/11 at the Highline Ballroom in NYC! He was there for a charity event to highlight Soldiers with PTSD and bring focus to a powerful documentary "Striking A Cord." He is auctioning off a Mark guitar from the X Series and offers more of himself to raise more money--its VERY FUNNY!!!!!!

you don't get what i said. i said cheap but good quality guitars. its great for beginners. beginner guitars don't mean that they're crap. i have a martin myself, and i love martins. no matter what guitar they make, no matter how expensive or how cheap, i know that its going to be good.

LOL that martin guitar was either a DX1 which is 500 or a LXME which is 400 -- martin's make cheap quality guitars nowadays. i mean they're not the best, but it's a pretty good beginner guitar.

Believe it or not, that one's 500. The body has less volume (space) than a standard, doesn't have as full of a sound. Still a killer guitar when plugged though.

the x series are Martin's import offerings. Laminate back and sides, but solid tops. I've played one, and in my opinion, you can get an instrument just as good for around $300-350 (Yamaha, Seagull, Alvarez)
