I love John Mayer's work because he's a flawed person. Just like all of us. Beyond the awesome god-like guitarist, beyond the sweet pop songs, beyond the magazines and the sparkles, there's something in him which he manages to convey through his body of work. A loneliness, a weakness which makes him relatable to all of us. To me, this is rather unique of an artist of this scope. He might sound corny and arrogant at first sight, but if you pay attention hard enough, you'll find he is actually one of the most honest big names out there. He's still just this normal shy teenage kid with an amazing gift behind all of those fame made layers. He's honest to us, and he's also able to be honest to himself when he digs deep for albums like "Paradise Valley" or "Born and Raised" to come out. "Dear Marie" is the epitome of this.

I couldn’t agree more. People’s hate for him is unwarranted because he has changed since he was 22. He’s admitted his mistakes and moved on. He also has a charity that he started discreetly because he didn’t want it to seem like he was doing it to get attention.

It’s rare but it does happen. knew my now wife since 13 years of age, We finally got together at 16 she being 17 got married at 23 , I’m now 39 she’s 40, have 2 kids and a grand baby. It was hard, There was some growingpains for both of us haha but I will say the juice was worth the squeeze.
