It's a shame that you stopped making lessons like this.. you have a very nice approach to every song and you cover each section just enough to let us know how we can adapt it to our style.. I wish you would keep doing lessons like this man! You're a good teacher!

This is a great channel, you play so well, so clean, and you teach amazingly! I just binged watched a load of videos. Please keep the new videos coming!! Maybe if you can play the entire song the whole way through at the end so we can play along after practicing! Thank you so much!

Yeah that slow intro ends with an E7 people, not another d/f#. Great video. Most in depth as usual! Miss your Fender. That thing was so nice. I know PRS is supposed to be the shit but I can listen to a Fender Strat all day. Mayers tone is still so much better when he's playing the FENDER black one.

Hell yeah man! I'm the special someone who suggested this one a few days ago on the sharkey lick video! Awesome that you made it! Can't wait to learn it :D keep it up

Thanks for the lesson. I enjoy your teaching style and your choice of materials. Everyone who benefits from this video should think about making an offering to his Patreon. Just a thought, Cheers !

The sustain on that PRS is insane! Are you playing with a compressor here, or is that all from the guitar? Great lesson as always! My only comment is that I think he does a walk down to the E at 13:28 instead of the same walk up. So G to F# to the open E major.
@tim-oliverbartholome13157 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Brandon :) It's all the guitar, just clean, I love it! Regarding the lick; that most likely is the case, yeah. I'm not 100% sure, but you're probably right!

what amp are you running it through? the sound is amazing!

What’s the amp?

Hi dude! Great tutorial as always! I'm not 100% sure but instead of repeating de same riff played from A to G on the G to A part, isn't Mayer starting by doing a hammer on and a pull of on the 5th string 2nd frent? Thank you for the amazing tutorial! I love your Rosie tutorial!

Hey man! Are you sure the 4th chord is not an E? don't have a guitar here right now but on top of my head I would say it's a E9. PRS is sounding great btw!
@tim-oliverbartholome13157 жыл бұрын
I'm honestly not sure, I just took what sounded good to me haha But thanks for adding it!
@nielsderuiter19917 жыл бұрын
@ Miguel. The fourth chord is an E indeed. I alsof prefer the F-sharp bass note while playing the D chord. Pretty good tutorial by the way, also great sound!

Seeing as a majority of your videos are john mayer songs, would you consider doing a video describing Johns style of soloing? Possibly something like your bb king lesson?
@tim-oliverbartholome13157 жыл бұрын
I could, yeah, thank you for suggesting it!

Hey Tim, big fan of your channel :), I was just wondering: Do you have any new videos planned in the near future? It's been a long time since the last one :P

Why not use all 4 fingers? I learned it by ear and there's less movement if you utilize all 4. I'm a bassist by trade if it helps make sense why
@yardenabramowicz2287 жыл бұрын
sometimes it sounds like you use the tremolo system, but I see that you dont have it on your guitar... do you use a special effect for that?
@yardenabramowicz2287 жыл бұрын
Please for your next lessons: I don't need no doctor, slow dancing in a burning room, dont let me down (from the duet with Keith Urban)...
@tim-oliverbartholome13157 жыл бұрын
Hey dude, thanks for the suggestions! It's a floating bridge, it allows me to do the trem with the palm of my hand!

You play fine, but signature riif wrong, its a H pulloff after g chord

People shouldn't do tutorials teaching the wrong way to play a song. Mostly good but study the song better before teaching people wrong. If people point out corrections, you should consider, listen, correct and edit the video.
