It takes an amazing musician like John to come up with a song with the bass/drum stylings of John McVie-Mick Fleetwood, the lyrical phrasing of Lindsey Buckingham, the rhythm guitar chords of Mark Knopfler, the punctuating melodic note bendings of Gerry Rafferty with the vibrato lead sound of Eric Clapton and Jerry Garcia ( combined ) into a song on the subject of dealing with loss through appreciation of our beautiful surroundings. Thanks John. You hit a home run with the album, especially with this tune.

@@tharveytucker1 I like that track musically but I find the lyrics were throw away, maybe for a demo that stuck or something. In general, I think this album will have a lot more life when it goes live. The tracks are each great in isolation, but unified into album form, the package is less than the sum of its parts. No atmosphere, no dynamics, no ebb or flow. Would've benefited from an instrumental, some more guitar, and less flat production.

Idk it's catchy but it's just a straight Jj Cale rip off from any of his first 5 albums. Pretty unoriginal in my own opinion.
@jas_bataille3 жыл бұрын
@@Yamah12a ... No. A copy is either a copy, or it's not. This is NOT a copy. If that's a "rip-off", then every song is a rip-off. There are *many* things that were stolen from many different artists and songs in there, many that have nothing to do with JJ. It's funny because there are many people who comment this sort of thing - it's unoriginal, it's a copy, it's and it's that - and I'll bet you some solid money that they never released anything on their own. Because if you were to stop making music every time you though "oh this sounds too much like [insert whatever name]" you would NEVER make anything. This is way more polished than a JJ prod, the voice and guitar tone are wildly different, and he wouldn't have written that. So if that's a copy of JJ then JJ copied every folk singer and bluesman before him and so on and so forth... wait... actually that's how art is made, you look at the previous generations to build your own thing. Deal with it.

"The unlikely beauty in letting you go" This song came into my recommended at the perfect time. When I had started moving on from someone whom I used to care about. When that person left, it was a Wild blue, but because of that, I found myself. I spent long and hard thinking about what I had done wrong, and what I could have done to be better, but that's me trying to change who I am, then I finally realized, that I can't change myself, but accept who I am. Truly some beautiful lyrics.
