I started to like McAfee when I watched the Libertarian Forum on Stossel. I like (most) of his responses, and I like his cander. When he spoke about his wife, it was a wonderful moment, as a woman, to hear someone who understands the needs of the most marginalized and disadvantaged of women, as his wife had been. Plus, he spoke about how the police killed his dog in front of him, and that broke my heart. But he won me after the debate. Why? My husband and I took a picture with him. Most politicians take pictures standing next to you, or shaking your hand, but always at a distance. First, in person he is exactly the same as he is in interviews. He sounds the same, he says the same things. But when I asked for a picture, he put his arm around my shoulders and his other around my husband's shoulders, like he had known us all of us our lives and we were taking pictures as old friends. Can you imagine any of the "big 2" candidates doing that? This is a good man, who stands for everyone's rights, and is actually one of the people (no matter how much money he may have). He's got my support.
