I get there's this misconception from Aggies that somehow they are more honest, trustworthy, honorable, have integrity, loyal, bla bla bla. Fyi they're not. People ask why he had to lie so hard in that moment when he knew exactly what he had been planning to do for months and would be public in a few hours? Because a Liar's first instinct is always to lie, to deceive (and attack a young reporter at the same time). They cannot help themselves- it's innate in their character. How do you know when Jim is lying? When his lips are moving.

Never saw this coming. However, this Coach made a statement that he left his family for the A&M job, that tells me all I need to know about his integrity! When a man walks away from his family, he moves into the class of ‘COWARD’. Is that the kind of person you want to coach your son or have as an example during a young man’s life? Are there any real SEC fans on this forum? Does anybody not know that Texas was played in this. Y'all think this was some big alpha move by Bevo. Real SEC fans see this for it was, A&M knows where their priorities are and it is not baseball. I guarantee A&M fans were a lot more ticked off by not getting into the college playoffs in 2020, even though they were clearly better than the Golden Domers, than either losing this college baseball world series or losing their baseball coach. The horns have to pay the aggies $2.7 million for his contract buyout and then just relieved A&M of $7.5 mil in obligations, that is not going toward football, over the course of the next few years, while they will pay undoubtably more than that to this baseball coach, which is all monies that will not go toward winning in football. Texas A&M just paid Jimbo $75 million in a contract buyout, do you really think they couldn't have kept this baseball coach if they wanted to. Texas isn't even officially in the SEC yet and they just got played by another SEC team. Hahaha.

I don't think anyone has respect for this anymore. The only decision makers left paying Cable TV Bills are people watching Football. UT has turned into an organization that conducts business same as the New York Yankees: At all cost. Except UT has never had a period of excellence like the New York Yankees(did in the 1990's): Which includes a period of at least more than one championship and undisputed leading performance. Such as Alabama & Georgia Football. Or, Connecticut in Men's Basketball.

Yea probably will in a couple of years. I went to A&M back in the early 80s and I tell you A&M absolutely sucked in every sports. They never build a legacy to rely on. Texas has build that and they got. A natty in football and baseball. A lot student went to Texas back in the 1880s up to 1950s. A&M basically was a military school. So they did not have a lot of top athletes wanting to go to a military school. Texas has females while A&M did not. So Texas legacy started quite a whiles back. Texas A&M seem to always hire bad coaches except for a few. Longhorns baseball had great coaches and always seem to get the best players. A&M gets some top players as well. But it all boils down to Texas legacy in baseball, football and other sports. A&M will always be longhorns little neighbor
