Thanks for this vid. John Morgan would be proud! That bird turned out absolutely beautiful. Great work Brent and everyone involved in keeping the memory alive. Anxiously awaiting the next vid of this one. Hope Brent gets rid of the gremlins in the power system soon. This bird deserves to fly!
@JustwingitRC3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the kind words brother! She truly is a beautiful bird indeed! We got a second flight in, but the Gremlins were still there. The second landing was also uneventful, so I'm sure Brent will get her sorted and she'll fly again. All the best to you my friend!

I was staying tuned for more....then the video ended ;-). I hope that the issue was easily resolved. A very nice work of his art it is. Nice example of a Vindicator. I do hope there is a "next video", but if not, thanks for sharing this with us rc aviators. AirHammer out!!
@JustwingitRC3 жыл бұрын
Hey there my brother! Well, this turned out to be a cold joint (solder) so it was in fact fixed. The model flew again (there will be another, longer viddy), but there was yet another gremlin that crept in! Don't worry...she's still in one piece and landed just as good as the first time. The Vindicator occupies a special place in aviation history...what a neat ship! Blue skies my friend, much more to come from St. George!

Thanks for the video! a year since John passes already, wow. Still look at his build threads on RcGroups and enjoy reading them. He sure is missed. Hope we can keep his memory and legacy alive, he was a great inspiration for many of us.

I'm so glad it got to fly in his honor and a great save and landing as well! I'm sure John was looking down and smiling and maybe had a hand in setting her down so gently! Thumbs up! Best regards and RIP John!
