I live about two minutes away from the Flying H and have always enjoyed the unique aircraft they have put into the air over the years, but by far "Deckchair Danny" (as John is called in my household) has been our favorite. I'm glad I found this video, now I actually have proof a man attached to balloons floated over my house.

the atmosphere progressively gets less and less dense as you go higher, therefore at some point the baloons' upwardforce would equal earth's downward gravity, causing you to not go up any further
