Played against this legend many times. Hasn't changed much...only difference is the old John had the ability to analyze his game, recognize his faults plus do something about it. The present John...the same thing except hasn't quite have the ability to make the changes quickly. Still....historic figure in Canadian Dart history!!

I don't know how much John is playing now in Canada, but his from has dropped since losing his Tour Card at the beginning of 2019. He was playing a yearly average between 80-85 back then and now I'd say between 75-80. He had some really good matches the last 3 years, but also some really bad ones. I think his drop in form is caused by a lack of practising and I also noticed his throw has changed a bit and also I think he isn't really happy yet with his new setup, as the darts too often don't lay in the same position. So it seems to me he isn't getting as much practise in a before. Looking forward how John gets on at the CDC Tour this year

He's obviously not playing as much as he once did but he's working hard. In case you haven't noticed he's lost alot of weight. His weight gain effected his game and with him losing it...let's hope he gets some of the game back.

@@Stenuarts5287 he's one of many walking advertisements for darts being an incredibly unhealthy lifestyle, the weights always looked peculiar on him, get the feeling had he not got into darts he would have been naturally pretty lean haha

@@philmuggeson1849 can honestly tell you that the trips back and forth even when he played alot before moving on to the PDC that the travel and playing killed him and the lean body type he maintained. Eating on the run between events can never be good. Then getting up first thing in the morning for a 10 event can't be good eating.
