It's rare someone can make pain come through vocally and in their actual playing itself. He has a lazy, almost disconnected "quitting" feel in his strumming; like he wants to give it up but feels obligated to keep going. So emotional and excellent.

I had the pleasure of seeing him live in Austin, he is the epitome of grace and kindness as he greeted all his fans so warmly. So talented you are JPW!! Good Bless you!!!

Agree 100% Just saw him in Knoxville and I echoed this very same statement to him almost word for word, adding 'patient' as I stumbled to convey my love, appreciation and awe of his gifts. He's not JUST an amazing songwriter, not JUST an amazing vocalist, not JUST an amazing guitarist....he's all that, and THEN some which makes him so captivating, leaving me craving more. Just can't get enough.

Someone's gonna hold your hand And everything will clear Touch you when some unknown when they finally does the trick Put in a fairytale where you meant to be That someone, that someone won't be me Someone's out there praying for The day that you walk you in An happy ever after could finally begin Someone who'll stop at nothing To give you all you need And that's okay I never really love you anyway At least not unconditionally That subject loves the once and future queen If I thought that I be good for you If I thought this could work I'd reach a little higher And pull you back to earth But the man you're really looking for Wanted all your dreams That someone, that someone won't be me And that's okay You never really love me anyway Not enough to meet me half the way Our love's something you could only take And that's okay I never really love you anyway At least not unconditionally That subject loves the once and future queen Source: Musixmatch
