Ah the 70s , best years of my life.

Where the action was tonight was the Katoomba RSL, where JPY and the Allstars gave us an incredible show. Young and old were on their feet screaming along to a lot of old hits. I will not divulge the contents of the set list (and I managed to purloin a stageside print-out) because I want you to buy a ticket and be surprised and amazed. I'm sure they're coming to a town near you. John is incredible - dare I say it? - for his age. He still has the voice. And the band are more rock'n'roll than ever before. It was great fun to sing and scream and dance. I thought I was going to have a heart attack at the end of the first set, and we'll all surely have caught the plague tonight, but it was worth it. If you can get to see this show you will not regret it.

I saw John at Cessnock Performing Arts Centre in 2022. He was awesome, full of great stories and funny too. Every song was awesome, but he took this one to the next level, aged 70 absolutely pumping out those lyrics.
