For Master of Puppets I thought they used JCM 800

They slaved the IIc+ into the JCM800. So using the JCM800s power section and the IIc+ preamp. Most of the tone comes from the c+ Ride was all / mostly Marshall I think

@@reamptones9925 WRONG! Only Hammett slaved his C+ and only for a few solos. Most of the solos were played via his C+. James on the other hand used MKC++ which is a mod Mesa did on these amps. Mod itself gives it a touch more gain and miniscule difference in the gain structure. Producer of Master of Puppets recently revealed on twitter that the setup was for the album.
