Thank you John, for everything. You helped me through the worst phase of my 50 year old with FAIR and SQUARE. Not to mention all your songs all went from hilarious to heartbreak in one line of the masterpieces you gave us. I can't even imagine the receptions in Heaven! A celebration by seeing and feeling your subtle messages of love and friendship your fans enjoyed. You are happy now.

I saw your father for the first (and only) time at the Philadelphia Folk Festival in the early 70's. I was an instant fan..... and remember telling everyone who would listen the next day about this guy from Chicago who stole the show the previous night. Then driving to the KOP mall and buying his hay bale album. I am heartbroken from his passing. Saw him one time and I feel like I lost a close family member. Wishing you, your Mom and brothers all the best. I am sure he'd be very proud of you!

Always have been a big fan of J.P's songs - most of them. But he always seemed to have a disdain for America and yet never left it. Until recently. He had no problem or commentary for the Criminal Clintons or Obama's tragic 8 years in office. Here he seems to want to compare our president to Mussolini who was a dictator and Hitler who was a socialist mass murderer. Clumsily hateful at best.
