I have a suggestion for any parent that's going to fly with a baby. Before planning your trip, buy your baby a headset that plays soothing music for them. Put it on them several times at home and when you go to the airport, put it on them well before you board the plan so they are used to it. You know what the say, "music soothes the soul". They do work mothers.

About the crying baby...decades ago in PR, my parents went to a movie theater. There's a baby crying and of course we rule BY It Takes A Village rulea since we are Native tribal people. Sooo...what they did was pass the baby to one side in the same row as the mom was. And then down the end and back UNTIL someone was able to finally get that baby to sleep. They said it took all of about 5 minutes FLAT and from what my parents were told is that it's not unusual. Whole family's go out to the movies together. It's not like on the mainland where it's just more for dates or kids to go hang out. So there's literally a bunch of Abuelitas saying ok gimme that baby and I'll rock it now. It was done on their plane going there too a few years later! ❤ #PROUDTaino #NYMohawk

She just said it can be hard to get the baby not to cry (for example BABIES cannot control the air pressure in their ears so they hurt more and their response to pain is crying bc they cannot speak). Just take some headphones with you if the crying of a baby is such a terrible annoyance to you. I never plan on having children myself but I can’t understand ppl expecting them to behave like adults or dolls. THATs being inconsiderate, in my opinion.
