Here’s a story about this guy. JR never eats tomatoes. Doesn’t like how they look, smell, and most of all, how they taste. A pure tomato hater. So it was late one night and we were eating in the cafeteria and this guy, let’s call him Marty, was trying to get him to eat a tomato, just because. But of course JR won’t touch the thing, he hates those little red vegetables with a passion. So Marty turns to me and says, with a glint in his eye: watch this. Marty looks at JR and says, ya know, Johnny Buckets, tomatoes will make you better at frisbee. JR looks confused, and says, really? (JR is very gullible). Marty says yes, I mean it. Then, and I kid you not, the most amazing thing happened. JR GOBBLED that tomato like a bear eating a hamburger. I’ve never seen a thing like it. It looks like he’s gonna puke because he hates tomatoes so much but he eats it in one bite because he thinks it’ll make him better at ultimate. Then he asks everyone at the table for their tomatoes and they give it to him because he’s Johnny buckets and how are you not gonna give him a tomato. Next thing you know he’s downing a bottle of ketchup. It was, honestly, the most inspiring thing I’ve ever seen. The next day he got 7 layout Ds at practice and was even more unguardable than usual. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I think it worked. So if you see JR at a tournament, chomping some tomatoes with a grimace on his face, you’ll know why. If that’s not dedication to his craft I don’t know what is. Buckets for Callahan.

John Randolph took me in and raised me when I was an abandoned lost child. He could’ve just fed me and left, but instead he taught my hunter-gatherer frisbee skills so I would be able to fend for myself and become the gamer I am today.

I’ve been waiting 4 years to see John’s body of work and it’s better than I ever ever imagined. The dude built the nations top program from his first day on campus. great teammate, lethal player, first overall draft pick in any conceivable situation. Congrats on an incredible career. can’t wait to see the finale.

This is the best callahan video of the year from what I've seen. The cuts are so explosive and the fakes at the beginning so convincing.

Most impressive clip to me is when he's just getting so aggressively fouled, arms and everything lol, at 3:41 but still maintains body position and boxes his defender out for the score. His jump cuts are elite, but this one hits diff for me.
@tortareka26812 жыл бұрын
That all depends on how hard the defender is pushing it could not be a foul at all.
@REGRIGBY56782 жыл бұрын
@@tortareka2681 Thats just not the foul rule, "It is the responsibility of all players to avoid contact in every way possible". It doesn't matter how hard the guy is pushing, if he pushes at all it's a foul.
@tortareka26812 жыл бұрын
@@REGRIGBY5678 its not a matter of how hard he is pushing but if he is pushing at all I also think this is a foul but as a spectator I just don't know if he was only laying his hands on Randolph to know where he was while looking for the disk

was he called in or out at :36 sec? (just wondering considering a line judge was standing right there) slow mo showed he had his hand down first outside the end zone then his right foot touched.... and thus straddling the line..
