If a man tells their coach on the phone that they’re going to NY to kill someone, that means they never wanted to kill the man to begin with. He was hoping he would be stopped. Someone who doesn’t want to be stopped is going to say they have family issues, or some other matter that they have to attend. A lot of us want to be subconsciously stopped.

You people sound a whole lot like you're speaking from a place of ignorance. There is exactly ZERO research to support the argument that if people really want to kill themselves/others, that they don't speak on it. Zero evidence. A bunch of people parrotting what they heard a bunch of other people say, doesn't constitute it as a fact.

Finding out out someone you know and loved was killed hurts, but if they would've wanted you to kill that person and go to jail and destroy your life and hurt those around you then that person never loved you or cared about you. Mike may have said that in the moment even though it's pretty obvious that Jayson Williams was talking out of his ass to write that book or whatever. But he instead chose to live out his father's dream and play baseball knowing that was what his father wanted. And to honor him even further he would return to the NBA and win it all on Father's Day for his dad. Would you rather kill those guys and more than likely go to jail and destroy and hurt those around you even more or would you rather live out your father's dream and eventually honor him in the greatest way you know how. Mike had a choice and as far as I myself am concerned and any sane person is concerned he made the right decision.

Because technically it's hearsay. Whenever you quote someone or tell a fact it's always best to reference the source or show evidence to back up the quote. Good journalism.

This was actually one of the dumbest topics I have seen on VLAD TV. MJ was a killer on the basketball court. Not in real life. His brother, who was in the military, had to think in terms of kill or be killed during his military career. His brother James, would have more of that real killer or revenge instinct than Michael. But the testament of the character of both men did not allow them to go into the evil gutter of revenge. Even thinking of these men in those terms is reprehensible. But I understand its all about the views.
