Someone who get's it. I've been saying this forever. Even if Mythologies gets clowned on, the music and atmosphere is amazing. His dedication to the Asian fusion made mk into what it is.

Mythologies works for me, I love the music, the overall tone and atmosphere of the game to the point that I dont care about how frustrating the gameplay can be.

Yep first it got too silly with the PS2 games. Then too serious with reboots and too grotesque with the modern fatalies. MK is bland now. Brightside is Tobias is back for MK 12. Cant wait to see it.

Now this is when it was all about ninjas, Kung fu and sex. MK lost its way, I don't know what's it about now. MKX and MK11 is about super powers and controlling time, shit is stupid. MK lost its love for Kung fu and martial arts, I guess that's a 90s thing. I'm with old school

Well it's because John Tobias left the series after 4. He was the soul of the series. He is coming back for 12 which is needed. Hopefully they retcon this series and start after MK 4.

Mortal Kombat story is dead since he left. Nowadays they only reboot it 24/7 because what they write is so trash that they have to come down to the original storyline that Tobias made.
