The dog in the movie was a gift from his wife who passed away, which explains why his character behaved this way in the movie. It was the only memory he had left of her, it makes me wonder why he choice to act in this movie when he lost his wife and baby in real life so sad poor Keanu Reeves needs a big hug 😪😿

I can't believe you people are so in denial. Why must you all need for Jennifer and Keanu to have been this great love story? Everyone knows Keanu loved Jennifer and was taking care of her and that he loved their baby. Why isn't that enough for you? He wasn't in love with her. She was in love with him, but he didn't reciprocate with those feelings. So what? They were not even living together and there were no plans to marry. They were not even seen together at a public function. And don't come back with this "he was protecting her" crap. Keanu doesn't even "protect" his own beloved sisters and mother from the public eye, why would he need to shelter Jennifer that way? She was a grown woman. So why do you all insist on forcing this fantasy love story on them that simply didn't exist? Is it b/c Jennifer was a fan and you all think she's your hero b/c she Bagged The Big Guy and had his baby, etc? She is your hero b/c of this? I just don't get why you all need so badly for Jennifer to have been the love of Keanu's life and why it seems to turn you on to think how Keanu suffers over her loss. I'm sure he does suffer over the tragedy of both Jennifer and their baby, but you all seem to get off on it. As if this makes Jennifer a Legend.

People don't understand what the dog means to many people a dog is just a dog but to dog owners it is the greatest gift ever their bestfriend they been with them forever they have stuck with them through everything no matter is it a breakup, divorced, or just being an a abusive situation in their life but for john it represents his second chance his gift from his dying wife it is everything to him that was his way of moving on from not only from his wife's death but john past and viggo son took that from him he took away that way of grieving and healing all that angry, sadness, he was holding it all back until isolef took that from john and now all that angry ,aggression , sadness is all out now he wanted to kill viggo son for that and he burned the all down empire down john made viggo for what he was and he tore it all down just in a couple of days that took years to build.
