I have thought about this mashup version. It is so good because it hits the Zimmer feeling of intense melancholy that Superman feels being cut off from his now-dead family on Krypton with his Williams immense energy in the love he feels for his new life on earth. Lots of people would be mentally crippled by this conflict, but he has more intestinal fortitude.

You got it in there but not quite at the right spot, and it’s supposed to be the BIG FULL ORCHESTRA version, the one that touches your soul, that piece of the Williams theme is supposed to be the main event, it was to my generation and several others, a message of HOPE, of the Superman that exists in every one of us, it’s the finale, the big bash at the end of the fireworks show, all the rest is the build up to IT. But still, great work, no question!!!

Ok, ok, ok! After hearing version 1, I was pleased with how you mashed up the latest theme with the original, but felt a bit let down. You were very good, bordering on excellent, but a key bit was missed... Until I found out about version 2... DUUUDEE! DUUUDEE! You beautiful man, you awesome human, Ace number 1 guy! You combine both of them, and it's totally awesome. James Gunn could do the ultimtfan service if he used these in his upcoming Superman movies, but I'm convinced he won't, most likely wanting to create his own vision, but dude, you killed it with both versions. It is how they are created and composed by very talented musicians all coming together with loads of different combinations of different instruments and it takes everyone on point to make these wonderful compositions! i saw this and the other Part 1 you did. you do an amazing job combining the 2 themes. that takes a lot of dedication and work. o fcourse, while Zimmer is a magnificient composer, and when it comes to superman. you just can never ever beat the John wiliams version period even though zimmer's is very good. the 1978 version is just so epic on the grandest of scales . it is kind of like those internet things where they say Henry wrinkler IS the fonze. or Chuck norris IS walker texas ranger those type so fthings.
