What I have never understood is the fascination with street racing. It is beyond stupid. A bunch of Fast and Furious and Need for Speed fanboys clearly with more money than brains. They think that street racing is more prestigious than on a track, when in reality it is the other way around. Majority of these people can't even handle their car on an official closed circuit.

Nope I bought plenty of cars still owing 20k or around there modded the hell out of it. For example. Years ago bought a 2013 mustang 5.0 for 25k. I put 19k into it. Granted only 15k was performance and the rest was wheels and tires etc. point is I did all of that within a year of owning it. She was a twin turbo’d beast!!

From what I've been able to find out, apparently the event is held in Bradenton, FL every year... I'm gonna assume that they cruise the city trying to find a decent spot for the drivers to meet up and handle the Call Outs and betting... Afterwards they jump on the highway and handle their business... Probably getting off at the next exit once their race is finished... Unfortunately, it appears that the police department is learning from the previous years and have gotten wiser to the way things are being done.... It might be smart to think about hosting the event in a new location... However, according to the website, it is gonna be taking place in Bradenton again next year during the first week of October....

Problem with the first meet up spot is that it was 5 blocks from the district office and the nicest TPD district in terms of crime. Find the lots in the hood and you get less chance of PD bothering you. But then you have to worry about the car jackers and stray rounds 😂
