I’m celebrating 7 years of walking with the Lord next month. I remember being concerned when I read about the fear of the Lord in my early days of reading his word. I prayed about it and the next morning I “heard” him say that fear means respect. He melted my heart that day as I had a lot of trauma as a child. That same trauma he is healing me of all those scars now so I can be in closer relationship with him. So yes I want the real Jesus that sits at the right hand of our Father. He is worthy of all my love and devotion. Thank you so much for this series.

So many Christians struggles with this. Thank you for this message. I love being in the presence of God. I strive to live the life God prefers for me. Sadly my fellow Christian brethren thinks my Godly lifestyle is very boring. They have no idea the joy I have in my life. I ask God everyday to lead me and guide me in the way I ought to live. God is faithful. The things of this world has become strange to me. We serve such a Good Good God.

I'm listening and praying as I'm listening to Mr Bevere on the lawn mower this evening and it gave me that "wilderness" time to really draw close and hunger for God in ways I don't even know or understand, asking God to draw close knowing my worst is as filthy rags so we all know I can't handle certain levels of glory but I want them truly bc as I pray I ask God to search my heart and I know with all my heart I just want God ....the King of Glory hallelujah. And it's so in my face as just last night I'm studying Who is this Melech HaKavod? Hashem Tzva'os, He is Melech HaKavod. Selah Tehillim (Psalms)24:10 TOJB2011 translated Who is this King of glory? The Lord of armies, He is the King of glory. Selah NASB2020 I've been meditating on all this for the last 24 hours and tonight I get the opportunity to hear this lesson being taught in such a way it speaks directly to my spirit with understanding even bringing revelation to the eyes of my heart. Hallelujah thank you Jesus, and thank you Lord for Mr Bevere's love and fear and willingness to share. Bless him and his family and ministry and help me to share this message with others in Jesus name Amen

My question with this-was the smoke still at the top of the mountain when they decided to make this calf? How did they go from fear and asking Moses to speak to God after hearing His voice and seeing His presence in the smoke 💨 of the cloud to making an calf and wild lewdness right at the bottom of the Mt? I’m not acting like we don’t do this with the Spirit of God literally living in us, but was always wondering about this moment in study. Thanks for teaching and bringing us into Abba’s holy presence! We have just forgotten that he’s holy in a world so saturated with fleshly gain and desires. I’m over the 10 point gospel and Jesus that makes my life “prosperous” and no real fire 🔥 of God! I pray we all hear and see what the Spirit is saying! We’re in a critical time!

When the video mentioned Exodus 20:21, The Catholic setup for the word "confession" came to mind because they have to where the people go to the priest for "repentance" instead of God, who is the ONLY ONE who can forgive. That is what the Holy Spirit revealed to me through that message.

Let's reflect on timestamp 7:30-10:30 and meditate on that and how it parallels Christmas with all it's non Biblical tradition saying "JESUS is the Reason ......." just like the Israelites in Exodus, and renaming Passover with the name of the fertility goddess Easter. I'm very keen to minded, and normally don't confront believers with this truth because it's really not the main thing. But John bevere brought it up and I think it's worth looking into for every believer who has the fear the Lord

5:05 John, I’ve got to respectfully push back on your assertion that God hates the sin but loves the sinner. God loves the repentant sinner, not the unrepentant one. Psalm 5:5 The boastful cannot stand in Your presence; You hate all workers of iniquity. The beautiful thing about God is that He foreknew who would repent and openly receive His gracious gift. So in Romans 5:8, when Paul says: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Notice “while we WERE still sinners.” God knew we would repent and made a a sacrifice for us. That sacrifice does not apply to unrepentant sinners. Jesus made clear the conditions of God’s love multiple times in John’s Gospel especially in John 15:9-14: 9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. -Notice these are conditional statements( “if you do what I command,” “if you keep my commands.”) The implication is that IF you repent and obey Him, you remain in His love, but if you fall away and choose to go back to willful unrepentant sin, you cease to be in His love.
@scottsponaas Жыл бұрын
@@joematt-tk9ob Brother, simply believing something doesn’t make it the case. I shared Scripture that clearly states that His love is conditional. Love requires conditions. Think about the man who loves a woman that doesn’t love him back. She wants nothing to do with him. Is it loving then, for him to continually express his love to her? Absolutely not. God does desire everyone to be saved. Not everyone will make that choice. Jesus did not die for those who reject Him. If that was the case, then they would be saved. Jesus’ sacrifice is available to everyone, but it has conditions and God knows who those are that will reject it. Available to all, but not applicable to all. Only those who choose to do the will of the FatherS. You can’t tell me that He loves the people He sentences to burn for eternity. He hates them with a passion according to Psalm 11. Psalm 11:5-7 5 The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. 6 On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. 7 For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face. 1 Corinthians 13:15 tells us love keeps no record of wrongs. God keeps a record of their wrongs and rightfully so. This idea that God’s love is unconditional is not listed anywhere in Scripture. Psalms 103:17-18 ESV 17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children's children, 18 to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments.
@scottsponaas Жыл бұрын
@@joematt-tk9ob That all sounds right. I’m specifically responding to the statement “God hates the sin, but loves the sinner.” No, God loves any person who repents and turns from sin and accepts the offer His Son died to provide for. He will forgive them. I just feel like telling unrepentant sinners that God loves them unconditionally, but just hates what they’re doing gives them a false sense of confidence that they’re safe. I think it’s better to tell them they are at enmity with God, and forgiveness is available. This gives them the sense of urgency they should have. God’s love just is not unconditional that’s all.
@scottsponaas Жыл бұрын
@@joematt-tk9ob I apologize if my original response came across as though I was condemning you or calling your views heretical. That wasn’t my intent. Just slightly disagreeing with John is all. Not a huge issue. God bless!

Im confused. Around the 15 minute mark, you talk about God's word not being as strong today as it was in the day of Peter and his presence not being as strong today as it had been back then. But isn't God all powerful and unchanging? Isn't His omnipotence and holiness the same then, now and forever? Are you saying that God is not as great today. Or simply that our view of Him is not as great?
@anthonyadendorff4539 Жыл бұрын
This session was pretty good I was blessed to visit it at a group. But around 15:20 you say the word of the Lord is not as strong today as it was back then, the revalation of the Lord is not as along today. The glorious presence of God is not as great in the times of today. But I got to say I disagree strongly with this because Hebrews 13:8 says he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and or old testament Malachi 3:6 For I the Lord do not change. While I do also believe he will become stronger I do not believe he is weaker. Now you could say that you are referring to the 'word' or 'revelation of God' but in Luke 1 it says in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God. The Word is one with God. So could you elaborate more on what you mentioned. (Also I really did enjoy the teaching it was just this part.)

♥️ God was the first person in the Bible to repent. Genesis 6 kJV 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. ♥️ repentance is a change of mind. If repentance means, stop sinning, then what sin did God commit? ♥️ I hope you change your mind, repent, and put your faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. ✝️🩸 Romans 3 kJV 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
