Torosus Horneri LSW tires reduced compaction and give more traction to the machine. In Europe they used those tires because they are limited in width and cannot have duals or triple on tractor. It’s not specific to Fendt.

This command pro joystick is a direct copy of a 15 year old Fendt design. Other agco tractors and cnh followed with their design about 10 years ago, John Deere is the last one to the table with that. It is a straight up lie that the two airbag track suspension is the smoothest on the market, I owned one and this is old technology and an agco mt700 will bury it in ride quality. Any John Deere track system is absolutely horrible on the road. My fendts were less money when I traded and I won't go back. They are much smoother, quieter, more reliable, and my fuel consumption dropped 30%.

Well JD likes to copy other brands because they don't wanna get left behind. They don't care if 5 or 10 or 15 yrs later it cost more to fix then whats its worth. I can see all the CVT trannys worn out in the future and not worth fixing so the tractor is scrap! Someday JD will have to get brave and sell a more traditional model.

The 4 track configuration is a total copy of Case IH. It's not a game changer when the biggest domestic competitor did it first - which Case IH probably copied from a Euro manufacturer. US tractors are great, but the innovators lay with Europe. I'll always love the Case 2094, Case IH 8950, MX220. The nostalgia is kicking in lol Nothing runs like a Deere. But nothing kills a Deere like a Magnum

There’s a massive soy bean plantation property not far from where my father in-law lives, it’s a father and son operation (worth millions apparently) they have a sprint car racing team, all the latest Deere gear including a brand new 570hp 9rx with all the goodies, a late model D8T dozer, just about every Massey Ferguson wheel tractor ever built (and that’s no exaggeration) new Chevy silverados as company cars, 2 mansion houses on the property etc, list goes on you name it, they bloody have it. Anyway they have a 410 wheeled 8R and it’s their pride and joy due to its versatility they claim, can go anywhere, fit anywhere and just powerful enough to pull their implements

Yea but when you need to have the computer program or special cord to fix it yourself....the customer has to pay to load and ship the giant thing across 100s of miles.you all hate the farmers who are trying to fix their older models tractors.goverment has been nocking you guys down on the contract laws you guys are trying to have people stick to.if they own it they can fix it their self it's been passed I do pc and other reverse engineering self taught and I come to see first hand what the really big issues your causing with the software if the GPS unit on the cab is outdated the farmer has to buy a new one.after 5 years that thing is gonna cost the farmer a few hundred bucks used or few thousand new.we are maken tractors run again rather you like it or not.people like me maken sure farmers get to save what lil money they make.

The autonomous functions have no effect on the visual aspect of the tractors. They also make spending hour after hour in the fields easier. Guessing you have zero time behind the wheel of a tractor out in a field.

I remember when a canopy was a luxury. Sure it’s nice to have cabs with AC and radio self steering and a host of other luxurious. Leather seats, heated and air seats. Coolers and so on. But with every opinion haded so is price. Now tractor 120 hp and up now come stander with cab and so many options. We have priced ourselves out of operating new tractors. They are so expensive now there’s not many of us that can afford purchasing new tractors that are 150 hp and up. Just a thought.

Buy used non def engines, then have someone tune them up for you. For example get a base 8series tractor and you could get another 100 hp for cheap when tuned since they're all the same engine in that lineup.

In the quest for ever higher profits John Deere is pricing its equipment out of the market, they want a 12% increase this year and 8% next year in South Africa. Its funny, i spoke to the John Deere dealer and he said they have no new orders... I wonder why. We moved away to Valtra 3 years ago, best decision we ever made. What good is a fancy tractor when it cant earn you money?
