Watching April 12, 2024. I have a 9 needle Brother BE-0901E-AC that is over 20 years old. My daughter bought it when she was 12 years old and used it's out dated software for her in home embroidery business. Now that she is married and moving on she gave it to me. It still works amazing so I finally invested in Hatch software! I still use 3.5" floppy discs to transfer my designs.

I’m watching on February 6, 2024. Honestly, I don’t even have an embroidery machine yet! I’m just getting into sewing. I bought my first machine 2 weeks ago, a Brother CS7000x. I’m also a Sew It Academy student. I’m just going down the KZbin rabbit hole right now because I’ve been eyeing a Brother pe900 to get started with embroidery. Hoping to learn as much as I can!

Thank goodness i found this. Been looking to get into embroidery as a small business as me and the wife needed a change of pace. Invested a few thousand dollars into a Janome memory craft 550E and got digitizing software with it. Only after many hours of struggle (i was seriously up until 2am last night bagging my head against a wall) do i now realize i have so much to learn and i have answers as to why my designs are stiff and distorted. Also bobbin thread has been showing on top etc etc. Signed up for the trial immediately and am hoping i can learn the hatch software as i am currently despising artistic digitizer jnr atm. Wish me luck (August 13 2022)

08/06/2022 Starting my digitizing journey. Somehow Trust is the first word comes to our minds when we were thinking about your company therefore we decided to enroll to this training course and we will order a ZSK machine through your company. I left this field in 1999 before fabric assist was a thing, but I'm grateful it exists now so that a single design can be reused without manually altering stitch settings in an EMB file. Not surprised Wilcom remains the industry leader; we started out when it was still a DOS application with a puck-based digitizing board and our digitizer pool was 50/50 art school grads/production workers to ensure creativity while avoiding horrendous problems. I'm sorry I had to transition to another field (relocated to somewhere without a local shop) but I also think I left at the top of my game. I might have mentioned the importance of double running stitches on wearables, but we were a polo knit shirt shop. Good video.

I'm getting to know my Babylock Solaris 2. My dealer included digitizing software, a generous addition, and I can see that there is a LOT to learn. After experimenting and watching a lot of utube videos, I agree there is a lot of information out there. I have been searching, studying and reading about different digitizing software and the kind of support I may get to use the program for the past 3 months. I'm watching this today 4/13/22 as I learn to use my Elissimo Gold II. I purchased my first machine in 2001 a singer, then my second one a used Ellageo, in 2010, finally I got my current machine this year. So I'm a bit behind in learning digitizing. I purchased digitizing software back in 2012, but now it is no longer supported by the manufacturer, so I'm playing catch-up and have been traumatized by unfriendly programs that are difficult. I hope I learn at least the basics by watching this.

I have been stumped on digitizing for 25 years plus. I have invested tons of dollars into software that has left me hanging. I got promises from dealers that never came through once I bought their product. I have been sewing since 1958. I have been making men's suits and shirts, all my kid's clothes until they entered high school and then some, wedding gowns, formals, boat covers, car seat covers and headliners, design and sew handbags for 55 years and so on, but this is the one thing I can't get. I even hang drywall and do carpenter work. When I need something, I build it. I still can't get digitizing. I am old now and it's on my bucket list. I am going to come to you and if I don't get it this time, it's the one thing I haven't been able to do with all my arts. I do stained glass and paint as well in all mediums. I paint on fabric. I'd love to be able to add embroidery to that. This video is great. A lot of the stuff I knew but there is also a good deal I didn't know, and I really appreciate this video. It's very clear on the subject matter. Thank you so much for your time and caring. It shows.
