I'm so excited to comment this. In each Nolan Batman movie the marketing color was actually prominent throughout the entire film. Begins was that yellow copper, TDK was blue, and TDKR was white. You can see the tint in every shot. Rocksteady actually did the same thing with the Arkham Trilogy. Asylum was green, City was blue, and Knight was red. Gotham has always been viewed as a character in itself and many different artists and visionaries have always used the technique of giving Gotham a certain tint for their adaptation of the city. It's really interesting.
