just saw your comment on curry blakes channel abt your grandson praying for your knee. thank God for children! reminds me of when my 9 yr o;d daughter & i prayed for her kite (that she had just spent her whole allowance on) which was flapping in the wind from the massive maple tree it was stuck in along the row of maples lining the street.. we stood under another massive tree for abt 45 mins, til it started getting dark & we were getting too cold. then i told her, "let's come back in the morning. God could have your kite waiting for you, on the ground. so giving it one last look, we walked down the street & around the corner, where the wind really hit us. we leaned hard into it to stand up, holding onto each other, as the kite was still flapping. then i noticed the overlapping branches of the huge trees. there seemed no way that kite could clear the trees, except just one little area where the Lord could bring it down we kept making our way when we heard a loud' plop' behind us. yes, the Lord had managed. & i believe He loves to answer children's prayers. not just bcz of of their sincere faith but, also, as a reminder of His love and power, for the rest of their lives. I think this is wonderful, this bass-ackwards approach to teaching kids, which has a lot more to do with learning from kids than teaching them. "Training up a child in the way he should go" becomes letting the child become what the Lord wants him to be, not cramming a bunch of useless junk down his throat and calling that "education." Education in the ways of the world is just that: it gets you deeper and deeper into the things that don't matter and farther and farther from the things that do matter.

One more comment, Curry. I agree that not drinking Coke, in and of itself, is not a form of unrighteousness, and if you have the faith for it, it's not going to kill you.. I also think that sticking to a hamburger-and-coke diet is depriving yourself of one of God's earthly pleasures. With all your traveling you should be a .connoisseur of good food. You're robbing your tastebuds of one of life's little pleasures; also robbing your hosts of the pleasure of serving you food that they've gone to a lot of trouble and love to prepare for you. You have to educate your palate just like anything else. It's like renewing your mind--renewing your palate--and whether it's good for you physically or not, or ministers to your health or not, other people will appreciate it even if you don't, knowing you've eaten their cooking even if it's a sacrifice for you.

They also have an emergency life-or-death hotline, which I’m sure is quite busy. He himself would be very hard to contact, because he’s so busy, but his people also are there, the ones he has taught as well.

Definitely it has helped me to do as he says every day, and I being with asking forgiveness and giving it to anyone who may have trespassed against me (sometimes I do forget, but I feel it helps before prayer to do so, a few good pastors have mentioned it), and then pray for those who ask. I keep a record and pray over it as well, when it starts to get too big for the details for everyone every day, God knows what I mean for all people, and I try to cover restoring their min, body, soul, and spirit, and help them have a love for truth and discernment to know it from the lies, that sort of thing. I do start to see remarkable changes in the people around me when I do this:) As I’m sure you know, God says when two come together in Jesus’s name, it shall be done (as long as it’s a Godly thing, like not a successful bank robbery, for example;). Jesus said God was his second witness, when he was being questioned by the Pharisees, so with so many of us alone in it, God can be our second in agreement when we have no other to stand with us. Like Curry says, God has already given his people authority to crush the head of the serpent, to cleanse the lepers, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons...so just like a policeman doesn’t call in for permission every time to stop someone or make an arrest, we must remember that God already gave us his permission slip and He wants us to take charge of situations in Jesus’s name. Curry helped a lot with that. I just write all this to encourage you to also talk to God daily and have the Holy Spirit guide your steps, so you come to lean on Him, maybe you already do all this quite a lot. Curry helps keep me encouraged and keep my mind on the doing part as well. I haven’t yet out there and helped others at the level I should. I would feel more comfortable going with another person, but I try to do what I can with whomever crosses my path...but God is telling me to do much more.

Towards the end when Curry mentions some other famous rich preachers, the concerns of their wealth should be secondary to the main issue which is their very obvious doctrinal errors. The bible clearly warns about false doctrine and people are right to look at and question the heresies that some preach. Quite shocked to hear Curry defend them so heavily. Yes we should be carefully looking at our own sin first, but it is right to test the doctrine of any of those in Christian leadership. Just because a preacher does good works and is generous to others, it does not mean their teachings are scriptural. Their doctrine must be checked against scripture.

He specifically said it was in no way in agreement with their doctrine, he was merely pointing out their generosity. He even stated if he took over the church of one of them for a period of time, they’d not have him there for long, because he’d teach differently. He even specifically said he was NOT defending them. How much more clear could he be? He differentiated between character traits and doctrine, but some people just choose to ignore such clarifications. It’s the same such people who go around maligning and misquoting others.
