After listening to so many preachers over many years and causing much bondage and confusion and wordly sorrow prayed and prayed and thank God found Curry's teaching . . his response to Jericho---? ya, that's the way i responded to Curry's video: Healing in the Atonement. i mean, the presence of the Holy Spirit was even more real than his Jericho reaction! THAT presence is 'available healing' but, like he says many times, feeling that presence isn't necessary. what IS important is KNOWING He's present when you don't FEEL Him! but, iin the past, i have been healed while feeling Holy Spirit's presence like that. & i believe i was healed this time, also! Curry said his cousins said he was spoiled. he says, "no, i was favored by God". and his mom had promised him to God as a baby, taught him to read from the Bible, & i'm sure all that contributed to his inner feelings that he would "go places". well boy, i'd say he has! He became what God meant for him to be & God has used his life well, i'd say. PTL! if the jglm is a cult, well, i've joined a cult! ever since i was saved in 1972 i have felt like i needed to be a part of a ministry like this! and i'm sorry that i just ran onto Curry's teaching about may 1, 22.

When am I going to stand and say in faith...engage in battle and speak the sword... And watch You change reality... When am I going to be? I am a body that You live in. I have a genuine question. If faith is in the now why did it take Abraham so long to get Isaac? God honoured him for his faith.

Abraham was not a born again believer. God changed his name and by doing this, he began the process of persuading his heart. As born again believers, we have the Holy Spirit inside of us. We have no lack in Christ, but we have to renew our minds (Romans 12:2) to who we are. For example, when I was first married, there was no question that I was now married, but my thinking had to come in line with my new self.

Abraham's faith was tested (Romans 4:17-21): "And *being not weak in faith* (ESV: *he did not weaken in faith*), he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; *but was strong in faith* , giving glory to God, *being fully persuaded* ...". If we look at Genesis 20:7,17, we see that God calls Abraham a prophet, and "Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children"; and yet Abraham himself had the same problem and did not see the manifestation of his promise for 25 years. So there is no question that Abraham had faith (he prayed with faith for Abimelech); the response to your question is that it was the trial of his faith; God had to test his faith to see its genuineness (1 Peter 1:7). This is the *patience* part ("be imitators of those who *through faith and patience inherit the promises* " - Heb 6:12). I believe that God wanted to set a pattern for all of us in Abraham as the father of faith. Blessings.

@@thecrossalways I agree. Therefore, faith does not necessarily result in an instant breakthrough every time. The list of hero's of the faith didn't all get instant answers. Some didn't even live to see the result of their faith. I think Curry is saying that faith is only faith if you see evidence immediately. I have huge respect for him but I'm yet to see that there is biblical evidence for his supposition.

He was not a born again believer. Also when his name was changed he started calling himself the father of many nations and also he pictured the stars in the sky. Faith is now. I am which is present tense he father of many nations. I believe he saw it as a reality because His does not lie.

He is means that God's word and truth is a reality overrides facts such as a doctor's report because it is a higher power. Ex. By his stripes we were healed that overrides a doctor's report. We can choose to believe and circumstances can change.
