My favorite memories with NHL 06. Me and my two buddies would get together every friday or Saturday night and play our franchise mode. Food, beer, bud and hours of playing. We did that almost every weekend from NHL 06 to NHL 13. I miss those days and its ashame we all had a falling out because you don't realize how much fun you had until its gone.

Thomas Lessard When a sports franchise changes commentators (like they did in NHL 15) they haven't had multiple years to build up more commentary pieces with the same commentators so they generally have a lot less variation

Time flies man.. My first nhl was 96! when I was 9 years old, we played it on the dos with my dad, we turned on autoplay and watched it like on TV :D

My favorite nhl game, it felt like such an upgrade coming from nhl 04. Played this one forever until I got a 360 with nhl 12. I’ll never forget that opening.

Loved this game. Also it introduced me to American Head Charge (the band in the opening trailer part). "The Feeding" by them became one of my favourite albums and I still listen to it occasionally. This series always has great soundtracks.
