Aight so i found a solution, so like i connected my ps4 to my -5G Wi-Fi, and it kept desconnecting, so i tried connecting to another one and what i found at the bottom was the "safe wifi WPS" thing, and all i did was click it told to go and hold the "WPS" button on my wifi router, and boom, my ps4 automatically connected, and since then i havent disconnected once, hopefully this helps:)

Judging by the amount of comments recently, I think the latest system software has broken something. I've been playing Cold War zombies lately, and every so often I'll get huge ping spikes and 100% packet loss followed by a blue screen error and complete console crash. Something's really busted here, my PS4 was perfectly fine 3/4 months ago!

This would make a great video topic but it already appears that PC is going to continue to stay ahead in terms of raw computing and graphics power compared to next gen consoles. This, especially after Nvidia's most recent announcement of their newest RTX unit. I could talk about the pros and cons of each for hours, but in the end it really comes down to platform and preference. For me, I have so many friends in my PSN online community that it's a no brainer for me to get the PS5 so that I can continue to game with them using that platform

I don't know what to do. It works fine for 20 mins then starts diconnecting every 2 seconds! I would try rebuilding the database through Safe Mode first and see if that helps. If not go back into safe mode and choose Restore Default Settings, followed by System Software Update. I keep getting disconnected from PSN servers for no reason. My connection in game is fine (no lag) but in Fifa for example when playing online I'd have an endless post match loading screen which leads to me not redeeming my coins, points and losing skill rating even if I win the game. My solution is "test Internet connection" but this means disconnecting from EA servers and having my game registering as a disconnect eventhough the game finished. Does anyone have any suggestions? What's also weird is that when I'm in party with my friends and this happens I don't get kicked out.

I hope this help, cause my ps4 keep disconnected from the wifi only when I'm play Overwatch 1(before the game shut down) and Overwatch 2. It's the only console I have that has this problem. It sits closer to my router than any of my other consoles and devices, all of which have zero trouble with connectivity. All of my other PS and Xbox consoles are gtg always, without a problem. My brother in law has the same problem and so does my son with their PS4s. Let's face it - it's a hit or miss issue that's part of the PS4 legacy just like the update error Sony never bothered to fix. Many of us were just unlucky enough to have paid for and received a "lemon".

Question. I doubt you see this but I really hope you do and are able to help! So, I just got a jetpack internet thing today. I had been running my internet off the hot spot on my office iphone and with the phone, I would always get a solid connection on everything albeit very slow download speeds but it was still decent enough to stream things like Netflix and KZbin, just not fast enough for gaming (multiplayer.. I am not about to subject others to my lag). I was getting around 500-700 kbps download and 2 mbps upload on the phone and the jetpack is supposed to be giving me 25 mbps (it is) download and 1-2 mbps upload (it’s not.. it’s routinely giving me 17.5 kbps). However, that’s not even my biggest concern. With the jetpack, doesn’t matter if I am connected via wifi or hardwired, I get a successful connection on everything EXCEPT playstation network. I switch back to the office phone hot spot or even another different jetpack and they still connect fine with everything, they’re just super slow. I am definitely not a technical or computer/internet nerd but I have tried about a dozen different videos for restoring the PSN connection and I can’t get it to connect with the new jetpack no matter what I try. If you can offer any advice, I would be eternally grateful.. it would just be nice to finally be able to game with my friends again after not being able to the last 18 months. Thank you in advance.

It's been a month since GTA won't load online or will load and then kick me out. Rainbow Six Siege will go offline after a match. BO4 won't even load. And HBO Max doesn't even let me watch a movie. I have this problem where the wifi cuts off but it doesn't tell me. Meaning everything just kind of stops or pauses such as movies or games. So I constantly have to test internet connection and sometimes its quick and everything is successful other times I get this CE error code and it won't reconnect until I restart or turn off my ps4. Also when this happens the quick screen and the home screen have a delay and then when I go to reset, my ps4 takes up to 5 min to even turn off and then it makes a beeping sound. This was while the frequency bands were changed as well, I had it running on 2.5ghz instead of automatic. I really think PlayStation need to sort this out because there are many people that are being affected by this... I even brought myself a new $216 modem and a new data plan to try and stop this from happening

If it’s only during a certain game you can try deleting and reinstalling the game to see if that helps. You can also run a rebuild database process through safe mode in case it’s an error in the system software code

Try doing a Custom network connection setting to your router instead of the Easy option. Sometimes this locks the PlayStation onto the internet better so that you don't have to keep connecting to it.
