Good exposure for the conference but not necessarily good for the fan. Not all games are coming off ESP+, so I still have to have that subscription PLUS a cable/streaming subscription that carries TNT/TBS. So folks will be paying more to see the same games they are now seeing.

MWC sell their 3rd tier rights to Warner Discovery this year what was called on Tru-TV. Those are games that CBS and Fox will not show on CBSSports and FS1. MWC beat the Big 12 to them already, but it gave MWC more money than what they would have gotten last year.

Connect the dots, John. A five-star QB from Georgia, the #2 prospect on the ESPN Top 300, dropped his commitment to USC and revealed today he is committing to Colorado. Money drives the CFB bus and it must have taken a lot for CU to get this guy but it puts to rest the rumor that Coach Deion is moving on after his sons leave for the NFL. As Prime himself says, "My kickstand is down." CU is all in on becoming a football power and Sanders is a big part of it. The Big 12 needs Big Bucks to compete with the Big 10 and the SESPN and Big Yormark is making the deals to put his league in the most competitive spot it can be. He's got 16 (soon to be 18?) hungry mouths to feed and if ESPN/TNT/TBS/CBS/Fox says to kick off or tip off at 3 am in Shanghai for the cash, we'll do it.
