George is my absolute hero, such a love for pro wrestling

It seems like the one thing George loves above all others is being George South the wrestler. He's still out hustling, self promoting and wrestling at an advanced age. It must be everything to him.

Met George at the last Wrestlecade in Winston Salem N.C. and attended his Sunday worship. One of the greatest, down to earth, humble and true person I've ever met.

George actually looks younger now than when he was running roughshod in the Mid Atlantic territory. I love his energy and his love of the business after all these years.

George South was not a Jobber he was what was called a Carpenter big difference, Carpenters build houses and a Carpenter in wrestling builds wrestlers. Jobbers just do squash match's George is not a Jobber. I heard Roddy Piper explain that one time.
