Klaus Voormann is playing bass. (He designed and did the artwork on the Beatles "Revolver" album.)
@jeffreyroedel98043 жыл бұрын
Yes and he's still a working artist today. He has some new drawings in the Plastic Ono Band box set. (also played on Imagine, All Things Must Pass, Ringo's "I'm the Greatest" with John and George, and some of Walls & Bridges and Rock in Roll!). Klaus was like the 5th Beatle of the 70s. The only one he didn't play with was Paul, obviously, but they did collaborate many years later on a cover song for a Klaus album.

At TOTP bands and singers rarely perform live, the program was all about miming the performance of a popular song. In fact, this is one fo the rare ocassions the main artist were allow to sing live, but only him, the rest of the band were miming. Mrs Ono was absolutely conscious about that fact and made a performance using the miming restriction and playing with written language, silence and tha fact that you can hear the word just by reading it while she is miming the spelling of the words. Performance Art served via national broadcast, and yes unrequited but unavoidable too.
