@c3bhm7 ай бұрын
Let's pull our heads out of the clouds, though. This staunch anti-abortion stance is handing the entire country to the deranged marxist left on a silver platter. We are losing badly, and will lose permanently over this. Look at every other anglo country: utterly and permanently dominated by the left, where any presence of the right is considered 'extremist' and 'fascist'. Our idiocracy is not going to support outlawing abortions. Christian religious membership is plummeting, especially among youth, who are future voters, which is the future of the nation, right around the corner. So, what then, 'immanentize the eschaton'? Should we just hand the world over to this creepy authoritarian NWO, for the sake of insisting on outlawing abortions (which wont even happen, because the right simply wont have the political power to accomplish it - so the loss of the country will all be for no actual results), and then wait around for Jesus 2.0 to show up and rescue us? Is that patriotic? Is that mature? Is that what grown men should do? Is that what the founding fathers would want us to do? I'm extremely Christian-friendly, but this strikes me as cultish insanity. "Trust the plan!", right, as the world becomes one big prison planet..?? Either start refreshing the tree, or back off abortion. You can't have your lazy cake and delusionally eat it too.

Hey John and Lucas, I have never commented on a KZbin video, but feel compelled after your discussion on adoption. We finalized our first adoption last month and I will say that our experience was very different, yet at the same time, along the same lines as John described. State to state there are differences, but the largest variances lie in the different agencies and/or attorneys who assist with the process. I would encourage every Christian couple to entertain the idea of adoption or fostering, and in asking around at their churches and communities, you will unearth the good and bad agencies/attorneys pretty easily. I would also not let the financial aspect scare a couple away. For example, with the agency we used, there was a flat fee well below what John described, and that covered you whether there were several “fake outs” or whether you got a placement in the first month. In addition, there are many grants available, and I think if you are not in a position to adopt, you should at least think about donating to a reputable org. If each “pro life”conservative gun owner would donate one Glock’s value to an adoption agency you would see the change you both are wishing for. Adoption is life changing and not just for the baby. You will find your whole world upside down in a good way and your priorities will never be the same again. Thank you both for your discussion and may God bless you both.
@RedRiverRebel-u3q7 ай бұрын
As a Christian I would have to disagree that every Christian family consider adoption. I have seen the not great side of the Christian adoption movement and the results aren't as rosy as people make it out to be. Cant bring men together with Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ…
@SSPspaz7 ай бұрын
Agreed. I’m glad John gave him the opportunity to clarify his past comments. That being said, I don’t think TK took full advantage of said opportunity. He didn’t walk back his comments anywhere near strongly enough to repair his credibility. I can respect Kennedy as a combat vet and as a fighter, and I can enjoy him as a podcast guest, but I don’t think I could ever trust him. If SHTF, I’d always be questioning whether TK would be kicking in doors for the state. The same goes for other high-profile vet bros like Dakota Meyer (with his LARPing comments) and the BRCC guys Evan Hafer and Mat Best for talking garbage about their customers and dumping on Kyle Rittenhouse. There’s a huge difference between having an interest in firearms as an extension of your military service and truly understanding the 2A’s purpose and evangelizing it accordingly. By contrast, I’d absolutely trust 2A and/or veteran influencers like Lovell, GarandThumb, Herrera, Botkin, Sean Ryan, Freitas, etc. as they’ve all made it VERY clear that the 2A is an inalienable right for ALL citizens. Not just their exclusive club.
