I love the color of the body and the patina, but please tell me that the dent in the front is going to be massaged out to fix the front grille opening. All your cars are badass. Keep up the awesome builds.

Thanks John! That’s the plan! Hopefully we can get it pulled enough to fit the (insanely rare) grille!

This has never been a style I was into, but your builds are really cool. The amount of effort you put into the small details sets you apart. Thanks for sharing, love the build.

It’s the Evaresto pronunciation for me now😂. Corey did his thing on those floors he made it look so easy. This build is coming along so nicely I didn’t even notice that dent on the side when I was at the shop I definitely saw the front one and am so glad that it’s gonna get worked out too. Safe travels to you and your Dad can’t wait to see what you guys have up your sleeve. Oh and the tow truck is an absolute must build.

I'm curious just what level of patina you're going to leave. Will you be replacing the completely rotted out areas, or just leaving the rough edges? Either way, it's going to be awesome rolling down the road. I think this is my new favorite body swap project.

In my ghia with a Subaru ej25 turbo motor I made a 3.5” raise plate and a 3” front raise plate. But my car was static and only about a 3/4” off the ground

I'd like to see how the inch trans raise works with only raising the engine side and not the whole trans. I have a bug with a 1 inch raise and had to weld in a mid mount and also swap to a type 2 bus nose cone to use my factory shifter rod. Going to be nice to see how it works.

If your seat brackets end up requiring a bit of vertical spacing, might the flat panning have been done by cutting out the deeper sections at their upper surrounds, inverting them once swapped side for side, then seam-welding them back in? Great series.

Such a good build! Will you be bending the dent out of the front at all? Also spied you wearing a Build Create hoody, been following Chris’ Brat ‘ since what feels like the 1800’s 😅, his attention to detail is insane!
