10:22 Fun fact, the hooks, ladders and the white red ring can be used at all times. The hook/ladder is used so that the people in need can grab it and hang on to it instead of a person going to them so that the people rescuing don't fall in and get in danger as well, and usually the ring is thrown out to the water so that the victim can grab onto that as well, when you throw it you stand on the white little thing that's in the middle of the ring (you can take it out of the ring) and then there's a rope in it so you can pull the victim back to shore. This boat, ring, ladder and hook is something we see at every single beach/lake in sweden (pretty much). And of course it can be used during winter season as well if someone has fallen through the ice.

What's important to know when visiting Scandinavia is we all have "freedom to roam". I'm not 100% sure about the rules in Sweden, as I'm Norwegian. I know Denmark is a bit more restrictive when it comes to private land. In Norway; You are allowed to walk in any forest you want, you don't have to ask permission. You can even pick berries and mushroom without asking permission. You can camp almost anywhere (2 nights) as long as you're 150m from house/cabin if I remember correctly. In the high mountains or far from people you can stay more than 2 nights. You can also stay longer with the consent of the land owner. Park4Night is a really good app with many good places.

That snake is very common here in Finland, and is called a beach snake here (also called a grass snake in other places). We get them all the time at our lake cottage. Always give me the willies though, even though it's harmless, as the poisonous viper is not that dissimilar in size or colour, so when you spot one it always gives you an initial fright. I had one swimming towards me a couple of years ago, which was even worse, as I couldn't tell the species. My swimming sped up quick smart! I like the delight you have for the facilities in places. They are so nice in the Nordic countries. It always makes me ashamed of what public toilets and other public facilities can be like in NZ (where I'm from) and in the UK. Great to see you having a good time in shitty weather too. It's 100 times more amazing in Finland and Sweden when it's a good summer. Endless summer nights, swimming and bbqing.

@@crabbypaddy5549 important to know that Huggorm can be pitch black as a Snok as well so don't go poking around if you not 100% sure. The easiest way is to check either the back of the head or belly of the snok, it should be white/yellow markings. A snok also have round big pupils while huggorm have the classic "snake eyes" Huggorm is also a spring/early summer snake, while snok can be found up to October/November before they go into brumation for the winter.

First time viewer, and I'm really enjoying your channel. One thing that I would like is a map in the corner of the screen showing where you are, thanks!

Thanks for watching 😎 We show three word locations wherever we stop, enter those three words in what3words.com and you’ll know exactly where we are 👍🏻

Loving Mandy’s enthusiasm for her Swedish shopping haul. You two and your adventures are such a tonic to a cold miserable October day back in Blighty.

18.11 Oh, I see my hometown - we used to live in Högbrunn. In the roundabout and a right turn is one way to my fathers house. And I can see my curent hometown on the sign. 😀 That is a first on KZbin 👍

Lovely to see travel vlogs from Normal Van life people. Not clickbait mediocre content from others although I do watch it. Just makes yours better. keep it coming.

Great video, always nice to see tourists enjoying my home country... But I agree with you, those chocolate covered things are horrible. It's a new product since like a year or so and I bought it once but probably never again.
